Israel is commiting a war crime. Do hezboallah fighters hide among United Nations observation post ??
or is this another mistake Israel that we must forgive and forget. Whenever lebanese civilians were killed it was because "hezboallah was hiding among them" . Which is an a big lie to coverup Israeli crimes. The fact they have an intelligence agency, most advanced weapons, one of the best trained armies, yet the majority of dead are civilians. Bombing everything to roads, homes, mosques, churches, ambulances, businesses, airports, ... etc. It tells civilans to flee than strike their vehicles killing and injuring escapees. Than some still say the war is on hezboallah, while you rarely hear of any harm done to them. But it still seems worth it to the Israelis as after they wipeout the whole polpulation of lebanon, they might finally reach hezboallah.
what more proof do some need to realize this war is on the lebanese people and not hezboallah?

Is rael knows exactly where to find hezboallah fighters, but prefers to strike from far, as direct combat would result in too many Israeli soldier deaths.

your question is pretty brave and you are probably gettin a lot of crap about it from those who are manipulated into buying the phony old story of poor abused israel and its efforts to defend itself from terrorism. The eyes are looking into lebanon, and last week israel mowed over palestinian farmlands. Crimes against humanity occur on both sides but one thing for sure is that our involvement in turning blind eyes to the crimes of israels leadership puts blood of innocents on OUR HANDS!!!!! I heard on NPR last night that a humanitarian worker in lebanon helped save a baby born ONE hour before his neighborhood was bombed. Can we not see the human crisis here?

I doubt that the Israelis are intentionally targetting civilians or aid workers, but with the blank check given them by the international community (and lots of yahoo answerers) reading "it's war, sh** happens" in the memo line, I doubt they take extraordinary measures to avoid civilian casualties, either.
It is important to remember that the ethics of "accidentally" killing aid workers and trapped civilians is a separate question than killing citizens of a democratically elected government (i.e., Israel's). In a democracy, the military is an extension of the will of the people, so the people are right to be held accountable for the actions of the soldiers whose salaries they pay. Only where the populace does not have financial and managerial oversight over a fighting force (i.e., most non-Western nation-states) are civilians really innocent despite the wrongs committed by fighters operating from near their homes.
Calling the killing of innocents "accidental" requires a suspension of disbelief. All policymakers know that dropping bombs in cities results in death and destruction reaching far beyond the target. Is it sometimes necessary to kill many innocents to stop one dangerous enemy? Maybe, but we should stop pretending that the consequences were unforseen. Maybe if people began to expect "collateral damage", rather than pretending to be shocked by it, then they would think a little longer before bombing each others' cities.

The logical fallacy in your question is called "post hoc, ergo propter hoc." Do you really suppose that if Hizbollah had not been shelling Israel, and captured the Israeli soldiers, that the war would have started? The capture of nationals on your own soil is, both morally and under international law, an act of war. Israel is fully justified in doing everything that it is doing. Nobody likes what is happening to the Lebanese people, but they are in a war zone and some of them are going to get killed.

have you ever heard of an accident? do you remember when a U.S. plane bombed canadian soldiers in afghanistan? we're all human mistakes happen. and anyways, given that lebanon is sheltering hezbollah, and refuses to actually do anything about them, what is israel supposed to do? afghanistan sheltered al qaeda, the cicrumstances are not that different. it is war, civilians die in wars whether intentionally or not. maybe you don't know what collateral damage means. while israel may be fairly indiscriminate in choosing targets, that doesn't mean they are committing war crimes, you have absolutely no proof whatsoever of that. and the reason we don't hear about damage to hezbollah is because it simply isn't publicized as much as that inflicted on civilians. so what if israel is fighting lebanon? lebanon is paying the price for sheltering hezbollah all these years

In War accidents happen and any educated person knows this. Do you think innocent civilians durring WW2 weren't killed by accident?
Do you really believe these dumb UN observers (UN is worthless btw) had any business being in southern lebanon? Do you think Israel targetted them?
Might finally reach hezbollah? You are defending terroist, the hezbollah group is at the southern border and they are killing them right now.
I want to know RIGHT NOW why you don't say anything when palestinians strap bombs to their kids! WHy

The real crime is the UN was the one that created Israel and then has just stood back and let them fight eachother for decades. You can't blame the Israeli's for wanting to live and feel safe and you can't blame the Palestinians for feeling they were robbed of their lands, but you can and should plenty of blame on the UN for not sending in thousands of troops to stop the bloodshed.

Kofi Annan is a socialist fruitcake, he demands to be investigated, in conjunction with the UN itself. The UN must have instantly vacated Lebanon while Hezbollah attacked Israel, as a substitute, they simply sat there and watched the Islamo-facists. Considering the UN and Europe are anti-Israel, there's the probability that the UN faction, which used to be based at the prime floor, used to be giving information to the Islamo-facists. If so, Israel had each correct to take them out with none caution.

Get a Life! Why does, then, Hezbollah use the U.N. observation Post as their hideout? They will resort to anything, including the coward est act of hiding amongst women and children.

One problem with your argument is the following. Israel does know where they are, which is next to the UN observation posts. If the UN did it's job, they would have followed the UN mandate and helped disarm Hezbollah.
