Because they want jobs & Americans are unwilling to do the most menial jobs. Americans are not all fat, lazy, whining or worthless, but the labor marketplace has made it clear that Americans expect to get paid a living wage. These immigrants are willing to do it for less. You do the math.
No, they don't want to turn it into Mexico: in fact, they are trying to ESCAPE Mexico and Central America, not bring it with them. America has political corruption and unemployment, but less of it than the countries the immigrants are coming from.

They come for economic opportunity. Harvesting lettuce in USA pays better than what they could be making in their countries of origin -- where the wealth redistribution system is broken, and new jobs aren't being developed at a rate to match the rate with which the population is increasing.
They most certainly do NOT want to turn USA into Mexico. They fled Mexico because conditions in Mexico are bad.

The jobs are available because large businesses willingly break the law and hire the illegals. No jobs, no illegals, it's that simple.
And in ANY sector where there is a high percentage of illegals working, the percentage of legal immigrants or citizens is higher, without exception. So don't hand me the crap that legals/citizens will not do the work. That's a bold faced lie.
Illegals steal our resources, our jobs and our national identity. They must ALL go. They cannot be rewarded for breaking our laws.

Most of americans are all that you are saying. This country was founded by americans that are not the same ones of this age. Those that founded this country made a good base and these country had survived because of that good base. And that base is maintained by a minority. But most americans are stupid, they dont even know how to point iraq in a map and they think everyone that speak spanish is mexican.

Ethnic and social diversity make a country strong. I've lived in New York for 23 years, and I have never been asked for a handout by a Mexican immigrant. More often, I see them busting their asses in low-paying jobs, just trying to get by like any other human being.

beacuse Mexico is extremly hot, there is nbo water to drink and people have no jobs

They want to work, get paid without having to pay taxes, and send the money back home. And they want our free medical care, and whatever they think they are "entitled" to. Pretty smart if you ask me.
