What extreme action would you take as a citizen if an all and out war broke loose on your domestic soil?

I posed the question this way, because I realize not everyone on Y! is a US resident/citizen. I don't know how many of you remember the movie "Red Dawn" with Patrick Swayze, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, etc. But I've watched that movie over a donzen times since I was a kid. If you've never watched it, at least do a little research before answering this question.....please. LOL The group of untrained teens that were defending US soil during a war in their country, knew they were at risk of dying, but weren't going to surrender their lives or territory without an all out fight. In recent years, I now see that movie as a plausible reality due to the fact that we have been attacked here on US soil during my adult lifetime and I'm thinking the severity of the attacks will increase. To what extreme would I go through?....I have kids, so I'd definitely be willing to kill to avoid capture and seizure of my home territory...as an EXTREME action.

After having spent time at Fort Hood Tx., I can say with 100 % certainty, I WILL do whatever is required to protect life and liberty for myself, my family, and my country. God Bless America.

My .357 loaded with hollow points would be put into action. Most Americans would rather die free than live as slaves. This is a concept that the radical islamic terrorists can't grasp. As such, they will eventually be removed from the face of the earth.

Red Dawn was a rediculous movie. I liked what it stood for but the acting was bad. I would do what was necessary to protect my life, and the lives of the people I care about.

Oh yeah, I remember Red Dawn, pretty cool movie, for it's time. I'd like to do what I could...Not much of a macho dude, but I have a feeling that I'd pitch right in and do what I could.

leave it up to the governing body of law makers, government and military
keep your guns locked up
being a vigilante is for the movies and not for real life
if it were up to you to defend yor home and family there would have to be something definitely wrong with the war and your country
over reaction leads to panic which leads to needless stress and additional casualities

I too would fight. It is an instinct think. I believe most people would fight if their families and homes were threatened. I am not afraid to die if it in defense of my family and my way of life. I hope it does no ever come to this.

I would use my Right To Bear Arms. It is hard enough to protect your home from robberies, I'll be dam*ed if I lose it to an outsider.
