We all have rules and regulations in our home, so if you owned and ran a small town of approximately 1,200 folk what, if anything would you outlaw in your little town, by the way what is the name of your town? and what is the penalty one must pay if they broke the towns law? ..... The most sensible or perhaps unique will get you 10 pts.

In 2005 I worked as Substitute Teacher in Texas but after getting frustrated for net getting a responsible and permanent job of Accounting although I'm a Qaulfified Accountant I decided to go back to my country of origin after spending 6 continous years in USA and working on odd jobs. The situation didn't improve even I got my USA citizen ship in 2005. I was sponsored by my spouse on F2 category and from day1 I had a permanent residential status
(green card). Now I've two major issues:
How should I my file my 2005 Income Tax Retrun for 2005 i.e.1040
as I didn't get my W2's by mail on time as I was not in USA not I got them and have the relevant info.
If I'm working as consultant in Karachi Pakistan can I continue filing my tax return for the subsequent years? is so how should I do that do I need to go to Consulate? Please guid me I'd really appreciate you help and co-operation in this regard.

I pressed charges against a guy and he was picked up yesterday afternoon. He has been in trouble with the law before and has been in jail. How long will he have to be in jail this time? Does he have to stay in jail till he sees the judge or what? I am kind of scared for my safety. I am afraid that he will get out of jail and come after me. Someone broke into my house before he was picked up and I think it could have been him. What is the best thing for me to do?

I'm asking since Osama bin Laden is "the most wanted man in the world". why did'nt this country go there first, have our battles, kill/oust bin Laden and al Qaeda. Then as past of the U.S. could have exited SWA (South West Asia) via Iraq. Remember this... the first President Bush (being "ill advised) had the opportunity to take out Saddam in 1991, but he stopped the Gulf War on "the road of death"! Going after retreating Republican Guards with what was probably the best allied coalition since WWII.

should we have vigilantees to stop the minutemen since minutemen are vigilantees themselves?

a vigilantee can be seen as illegal by the law in many places and the minitemen are definately not being legal

holding someone, legal or not, against their own will is against the law. killing someone, legal or not, is against the law.

much of what the minutemen do is illegal. do any of you find this ironic that the illegal people are being stopped by more illegal people?

My husband just joined the army at the begining of the Summer. He is away at basic training right now, and I was hoping if there were any army wives out there who had some feedback on places they've lived. We have two young children, ages 2, and 3, so preferable answers that have lived in the family housing on base.

My boyfriend wants to join the Navy but because he has 2 kids with his ex-wife, he has NO custody of, and he and I have a kid.....His Recruiter says he can join as long as he and I do NOT live together but others have told me his Recruiter is lying to him and telling him to lie to the Navy and it's illegal and he has too many dependents to join.

So....what gives???

Are we witnessing the begining of WW 3? Hezbolha and Hamas are operating in an aggressive fashion towards Israel at the command of Iran and Syria. China and Russia are backing the despot regimes of the world in Iran and N. Korea. South America is being slowly overrun by anti-american (US) socialists. AT this point, we have a government spending great sums of moneyand the grades and tests (Especially when compared internationally) just keep going down and down.
I propose that the voucher system be mandatory nation wide!
This will have a happy byproduct, Illegals will get caught!
Parents with VALID SS#'s and children with VALID SS#'s will get vouchers for the federal allotment of $$ to take their children to whatevfer school they wish (YES EVEN RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS! REMEMBER THAT PUBLIC MONEY COMES FROM THE PUBLIC AND THE PUBLIC CAN CHOOSE TO SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS IF THEY WISH!)
The illegal children and parents will just be out of luck! SORRY, BUT THEY AN HAVE FREE EDUCATION IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY!
I propoase that all schools use the progress at your own rate schooling.
This allows for the child to no longer be stifled! and held back because others don't get it yet. if competition developes among some and they learn because of it, GREAT!
