Not finding any statistics that provide me with this kind of information (where our tax dollars are being spent), I want to know if its time for the American people to force our elected leaders to spend OUR tax dollars on problems within America. Personally as a tax payer I want to know that the entire amount of money I am paying for taxes is spent on American issues such as our infrastructure (transportation) education, retooling the US job market so we don't depend on China, India or other countries for goods. I am tired of watching my dollars go out to save other countries. How do you feel about this?

Also does that parent have to tell the other parent where the child is? My husband and I were very worried about his 8 year old daughter when we hadn't heard from her in several days and her mother was not answering or returning our calls. Short story, (husband is in Iraq btw) we called the sherriff and he called her phone and she answered saying that is was a "load". Then when my husband tried to talk to his daughter her mother intercepted(4 times) saying that she wasn't there or she was indisposed etc and finally saying that she didnt have to tell him anything about where she was or let her talk to him and hung up the phone. Sherriffs department will not do anything and I'm stuck wondering what to do next. my step daughter is not in any apparent danger but this is deplorable that she is unable to speak with her father or her father's family. btw I read the joint custody papers and they are vauge at best - nothing hard set about phone or visitation times. help?! Can't they see bipartisanship is destroying our country?

I always was under the impression that the best candidate should win, and in 2004 i did my part by voting for the best candidate - Bush...

Kerry seemed to unsure of what he wanted to do in office, and to me, at least, seemed like he was just saying what the people wanted to hear...

So where is it written that if you're a "Democrat" you HAVE to hate WHOEVER isn't and vice versa?

How come Kerry was deemed the "better" candidate for the sole reason that he "isn't Bush."

Do these people even FOLLOW politics? or is it just a popularity contest to them?

I remember leading up to the election in '04, Kerry street teams would say, "Help us get Bush out of office!" as their tag line...

Wait...shouldn't i be helping Kerry get INTO office?

The fact that his best asset was that he "WASN'T Bush" was scary to me...and i don't consider myself a con or lib...just American.

And to me, Bush was the better choice.

Recently i had a 12 year old kid break into my house an steal a large amount of monry, 200 to 300 hundred dollars. We were saving the money in a old jar for a family trip. I called the cops and the kid finally admitted to stealing the jar, but it was never found. If I was to press charges would the kid have to pay, or not, because we didn't have an exact amount? FYI. the kid has mental problems and thats why were hesitent on pressing charges. The foster parents said that they would talk to their case worker but i don't know. any input would be helpful.

"the world" has never supported any thing the United States has done. I don't feel we should have to go to countries like France with our hat in our hand and ask (like Oliver Twist asking for more mush) Please Sir I'd like to defend my country.

I know allot of people that would take them. Americans.
Before you call me racist, my husband is half Mexican, but he is also a third generation born American. He has been forced to work for low wages almost all of his life because of the fact that he looks full blooded Mexican. Many illegals become aggresive toward him because he doesn't speak any spanish, which if you want to be politically correct is Mexican Spanish, just like American English. If there were not so many American laborers out of work the illegal alien issue might have been able to slip under the fence. However, too many are committing other crimes besides crossing our borders, and sadly, those also the ones that thought it was fitting to wave a Mexican Flag on American soil in Protest of American Laws. As broadcast on channel 34Fox News the illegals have also brought back into our country diseases that we had pretty much rid the country of. Illegals are criminals by choice, just like the American gangs.

I am tired of just two major candidates. I would like to see a party that actually listens to the voice of the majority of people, not just their sect. I have heard talk of a new "Patriot Party." Does anyone want to see another party? If so, why?

the bush administration had to release the records of four visits that jack abramoff made to the white house. abramoff is a convicted gop lobbyist. this contradicts bushs earlier claim of no connection to abramoff. another example of corruption and flip flopping by bush.
