ok...if she's your girlfriend, you must know what she likes....right? Well, believe me, you won't embarass her if you send her stuff. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as she gets something from you. She'll be so happy to open it up in front of everyone that there could be porn and chicken in there and she'd smile! Good luck with everything.

Any kind of CD's and DVD's, these are good no matter where they are stationed. Magazines and paperbacks are also good to send. If the service member is in the desert send lotions, it is dry and the skin needs it badly, just make sure the lotion is non scented.

That depends on where they are stationed. If they are in the US, the usual thing you'd send to a person the age they are. If they are in Iraq or Afghanistan, a "care package" of lotions, paperback books, flip-flops, and sunscreen are good. If in Europe, don't send candy or cookies - they have good ones available to them there.

Are you sending something to the military overseas or just a friend somewhere close by? That makes a difference. My friends and I have sent several packages to soldiers overseas at war. I have lots of ideas for them. They all are in different situations depending on where they are stationed. The soldiers we sent stuff to requested dunkin donuts coffee, pringles, nerf footballs, easy mac, small reminders of home, newspapers, magazines, photos of familiar places (beach, parks, etc), etc. Anything you can think of will be appreciated and helpful.

Depends on the person. Asuming they are overseas: Magazines, books, interesting games, new music or videos. Include some snack foods also, they are usually limited as to what is available. That taste of home is great.

Send something she can share that is hard to find where she is at...cookies, candy, trail mix, a good bottle of wine, etc. Not only will it not embarrass her, it will gain her some brownie points in the squadron.

People in the armed services are the same as you and me. Dont send them guns or bullets, or anything you would'nt send civilians. They are people, so dont differentiate between them and anyone else.

Cookies. They are small and even if they break in shipping, they are still good.
Letters are as good as gold to most, even if you don't know them.
