Those who watch Faux news do.

But then they also believe that we found weapons of mass destruction that would have actually destroyed anything (and weren't 20+ years old).

And that legalizing gay marriage will cause them to divorce their spouse or make everyone want to be homosexual.

Need I go on?

No, and nobody is saying this (except youse guys). The Bush administration, and everybody who's been following this, have repeatedly said that Iraq did not have anything to do with 9/11. There's something out there where Bush might have misspoke (hardly a stunning surprise, considering his eloquence), but there is nothing to suggest that either Bush, Fox News or GOPers or conservatives ever believed this strawman.

Now, what has been said is that Iraq had connections with al-Qaeda, and there has been plenty of documentary evidence and corroborating testimony from Iraqi ex-officials that the relationship was even more extensive than previously thought.

Do you have a link to anywhere where any Bush official or Fox News or anything said that Iraq was connected to 9/11? Or is this just another leftist canard strawman?

What nonsense. The seditious in our country bring up this argument, not the government, they keep yelling that the two are unrelated, and the government NEVER SAID THEY WERE!

It's like a soap-box preacher yelling to businessmen, "DON'T go to work! It won't help you fight sin!"

It was silly then, it's silly now, and most of us have seen through it. No, no one believed it, even then. We did have doubts about the people who kept trying to say that someone else thought the two were connected.

Why is it that the seditious always think we should drop everything except the main topic, and if we take care of any unrelated business, we are "ignoring the main topic", "wasting our time when such and such is happening", etc.

Real government continues. Other events need dealing with (like Iraq), everything doesn't center on 9/11.

That seditious people tried to undermine our efforts in Iraq with this argument in the first place was such a waste of time for everyone.

9/11 NEVER did have anything to do with Iraq.

However, we have now turned Iraq into prime breeding ground for terrorists. We have created complete chaos in Iraq and increased animosity toward Americans throughout the world. So not only are we giving them an entire country to practice bombing but we have also implemented an enormous anti-American recruiting campaign, by invading an Innocent country.

I sure don't, never did. Unfortunately, Saddam made the comment, "The cowboy has got his just desserts" right after the attack. I believe he was just pissed with us, and venting, speaking his mind.

I think alot of money funding terrorists has come from that part of the world, so they're all on the suspect list...not just Iraq. You might say oil money has been behind the terrorists for awhile. This is finally coming to light in the news, and that's why there's more interest than ever to get off our oil dependence. The facts on this get so weird, deep and twisted you really need a roadmap to wade thru it. You're smart to not buy into the party line on this one, IMO.

Did Iraq have anything to with:

9/11 - Probably not
Al Qaeda - Definitely "yes"

Thus it was and is a legitimate target in the war on terror.

Did you see how many answered yes? The Iraqis had something to do with it? The pilots were Saudis, Osama is a Saudi, he hides in Afghanistan. So attack Iraq right? Makes perfect sense if you're GWB. The rest of us-- I personally thought that he would call Saudi Arabia to the shed with a switch!! And told them to take care of their own or they would fell the wrath of America -- but oops--my mistake -- the Bush's have interests in Saudi. Sorry. Yes there are still people who believe the crap coming out of Washington. Heaven help the rest of us.

Nope. Never did. None of the hijackers were Iraqi. No money trail led to Iraq.
One of the reasons for the jihad as stated by jihadists is the American occupation on Muslim land. I guess you can count Iraq as muslim land. So, in some roundabout way, Iraq could have had something to do with it.

I wouldn't say Iraq did it, but I would say people from Iraq had something to do with it.
