Yes yes yes, it is time.
The Democrats are just as greedy as the Republicans. They take from the "rich" to fund programs to help the poor but the only ones who receives the money are the bureaucrats running these programs.
It is time for Americans to stop looking to DC for leadership and time for DC to start looking to Americans to determine policy.

Trust me on this it is not just the party it is the people too. If people cared more about politics the government would get away with less corruption and scandal. We do not need to have another party we need to hold all of our party officials accountable for their actions. That is what is missing in this government. If you do something wrong at work you get in serious Sh*t. Why don't we hold are Representatives to the same standers. The other thing we need is balance. It doesn't matter what party we are talking about, if one has all the Majorities, HOUSE, SENATE,WHITE HOUSE, and SUPREME COURT it will never be good for America. Absolute Power always brings Absolute Corruption.

Sure we are ready, but what makes you think the new party wont turn out as bad as the two parties we have now? I've been eyeballing the Libertarian party, and although they talk a good game, all the libertarians I have met are arseholes. But I suppose if they ever came up with good candidates I'd consider voting for them.
I don't follow political parties, I vote for the best person for the job.

I would love that - or an America First Party. It would take the good ideas from both parties and would address each issue by asking, "Is this good for America?" (sounds like Office Space -ha!) Seriously though, I would like to see the borders closed and people on welfare having to work "x" number of hours per week to get that check. They could do the jobs that illegal immigrants are doing now, once we send them home. I would love to see a new party emerge as I am completely disillusioned by both parties at this time. :(

Actually, there is a new party.I think it's called the unity08 party. web site was www.unity08.com or org. Saw a few minutes of it on C-Span.Don't know if it'll help. Most of our politicians owe too much to corporations, have their fingers in pies all over, or have careers in politics. Most people are so busy trying to keep up these days that they aren't paying attention to anything outside their little world. Or if they are getting anything from TV media, it's BS. Mainstrem media is republican owned (Sinclair Group) The bigger question is how tomake them listen to us at all.Bad things are happening under our noses. I want to scream, I get really angry. Where do we go with that-I want to do something!! They have forgotten that they are supposed to be working for us.Who are they talking to before vote? No one I know ever gets asked by any of them what we think . I've written letters to a few of them. They send me speeches in the mail. I'd like to hear some ideas too. I think "NONE OF THE ABOVE" ON THE BOTOM OF BALLOTS WOULD WIN BY A LANDSLIDE!

The Republicans have sold their souls and I've given up on the Democrats. They're both hopeless.
Voting almost exclusively Green this fall.
America would be ready for another Perot-style candidate in 2008 if anyone has the guts to step up.

Is this George W? I know you/he wants a new party; a cross between a Yale frat (skull & bones) and a short guy doing stand up (Hitler/Napoleon/Pol Pot). It is called the F U Party. One party, one man, one way.

I would be afraid that a new party may split the conservative vote and the Democrat would get elected. How do you think Clinton was elected.

Socialist party, but with a proper leader. One who is not likely to turn it into a flaming dictatorship.
