President Bush has acted in a manner that was designed to protect the American people. The military is a volunteer service and they chose to be involved. Who are the nay sayers that take pot shots from their couches?

I recently married a Marine Corp. Sgt. Almost immediately, he was stationed across the country, so for the first time in my life, I am thousands of miles away from my family and friends. I am hoping to gain a little insight and any tips that you may have.

Why would decent Americans want to win elections by being the creepiest in our society, like Republicans?

Are all the fiscal-conservatives in America cruel and vile?

What has happened to religion in the U.S.A.?

Do any of you see this illegal immigrant invasion issue as nothing simpler than a takover bid by Mexico. Forget the reasons why outside of the fact that we have allowed to get to this terrible point. We are about to lose our country, our culture, our livelihoods and the future of our children to this mass invasion by a neighboring country. What do you think the founders of our country would do in this situation?
I belive they would fight tooth and nail for what was legal and written in the laws and bylaws of this country. What will you do to protect yourself, your wives and family from this invasion of others who would come here and change/destroy our country from the inside out?

Here's my thought. Whenever we say, "Don't cross," human nature dictates that people will cross just to test the rule. What if we said, Go freely. Cross back and forth. We won't even bother you. Wouldn't that actually reduce the number of crossings because there would be no rule to break?

My grandpa died about 3 years ago. My mom remembers my grandpa talking about going to get his will done, but that was several years before he passed away. My grandma said he didn't have a will and everything was hers. My grandpa worked VERY hard for his money and very hard to keep it AWAY from my grandma. He had seperate accounts from her and everything. He was very tight with his money, she is just the opposite and was 10s of thousands of dollars in debt.
If my grandpa did indeed get a will made up, would the family have automatically have been notified that there was a will, or would we have had to inquire about one to find out? (Not that it matters, as my grandma blew the $100K he had in savings less than a year after he died.)

It seems like the democrats have now lost most if not all of the mainstream voice in their party.

I think we should build a "no mans land" / Buffer Zone with Mexico. Two fences about 40 yards apart with land mines between the fences. Then have soldiers stationed every 150 yards fully armed. The INS would be on call to help the soldiers.

It seems that since we kicked butt in WW2 and Korea we have placed more importance on being liked by the rest of the world INSTEAD of doing what is best for Americans. Kim Jong Ill, Pakistan, Mexico, and other must be laughing really hard at us.

My mother left my father this past week with their "boss" . (They worked together) And I was wondering since she left wouldn't she have to pay child support for the children that she left behind?
(ages 17, and 12.)

What else would happen with this situation?

I really don't mean this question to be inflammatory. I have really considered that it might be an option. A girl from about 14 until the age of 18 could be implanted with birth control.

I ask because I see programs about gays on television and they are funny and popular, but when a program about religion and real people comes into play, it gets yanked off the networks. Musical groups get ostrasized for speaking their minds by having their records burned and being accused of not being patriotic. Exactly whom are we trying to not offend?
