It seems that since we kicked butt in WW2 and Korea we have placed more importance on being liked by the rest of the world INSTEAD of doing what is best for Americans. Kim Jong Ill, Pakistan, Mexico, and other must be laughing really hard at us.

Actually, other States did vote us as the most threat. Meaning, they fear us.

Pride is good. but I personally think it's kind of sad how this world can't even get along.

Don't you go undermining our country in front of the enemy! Your phrasing needs work. At the same time, I agree with stating of the question: "Are Americans too cowardly to act?" It is an excellent way to make people think about how we have been asleep at the helm way too long. Thank you President Bush for taking all the flack of being at the wheel while the rest of us were sleeping off our stupor from all that socialist rhetoric.

We haven't become a nation of cowards, and are acting. Some other countries are laughing at the seditious behavior we put up with, but at the same time, that doesn't mean we can't answer the seditious and the socialists.

I'm a Democrat. We let the lunatic fringe take control for a bit. I'm responsible for staying silent. No more. We're taking our party back and showing America that some of us are Patriots. You are seeing some of us under attack now for this same stance. Republicans, please stand with us! Don't let the seditious element that attacked our country in the name of Republicans stop you! Stand up for values, respecting our elected leaders even when we disagree with them, and making the U.S.A. FIRST!

Enough. Get a backbone, folks. Hating America is NO LONGER IN FASHION.

I didn't know we kicked butt in Korea and I feel helping Uncle Joe (Stalin) was a mistake. That being said I don't know where you come up with the term "coward". The last country that attacked us was Japan and we did retaliate. 9/11 was not a country. We did have a war with Mexico years ago but settled it with cash and as far as I know Mr. Kim hasn't declared war on us nor has any other country you mentioned.

OK, if we had the news coverage that we have now in WWII when in one Battle we lost tens of thousands of allied troops. I think America would have had a harder time fighting the war. Korea was a draw not a kick but action. Now more powers have nukes so this makes it trickier to go to war. They are not laughing at us my friend. They are truly worried. Worried that one day someone will nuke America. This scares them most of all because when it does happen. This country will be more like an imperialistic country. We will invade others more quickly and with less compassion and more of a need for revenge and conquest in the name of homeland security.

that's because in WW2, there was hitler. hitler = genocide. and besides, he was invading. invading poland, france, and basically all of europe. He was threatening democracy itself in europe. that's much different from the situation today. neither north korea or pakistan are invading other countries. They are simply building nuclear warheads. i mean, if we have to have the right to have them, so do they. It's not like they're going to start dropping them all over the place as soon as they get the chace. and incidentally, we did NOT kick butt in korea. it was a standoff between the US and China. General MacArthur wanted to use a nuke on the chinese, but he was fired for being such a warmonger. war isn't always the answer. these days, diplomacy keeps the peace.

because the liberalization of our schools collages and media has taught us things like cats are people too and illegal immigrant's are given more rights than citizens, most of them don't even pay taxes.liberalism means socialism, witch means no freedom. this has pined down the law abiding patriot's. not all of of us are dismal coward, in fact the USA is one of the few places in the world that have people that are willing to do the right thing regardless of getting gain. America and Americans should be first, but Americans really need to wake up in a big way . for example why are we selling out our manufacturing industry , and having intimate and elaborate trade ties with china . most people don't know that china is our sworn enemy the sell as we speak and in the past weapons to terrorist and other enemies of America not to mention troop and other aid . it the dumb Americans fault and traitors that are doing this most of them you guessed it American citizens.

Americans are not a bunch of Cowards. I think most have evolved past the beat them up mentality. After all you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Also, have you ever been overseas and fought in a war?

Well we do have a coward president who skipped out of a war... and look at his actions since his residency of office. Look at his support staff too... Twiddle De Dumbass needs to be removed from office, and soon! No wonder people look at us like cowards, look who we have leading us!!!! I personally think we are not, but our 'image' would be greatly improved if we were rid of the scum of Washington. Bush needs to be placed on the front lines of Iraq. Too many good men and women have died because of his stupidity!
