Some say that getting a job is a good way to start but you may just want to get settled in first before jumping into the work force. Keeping a journal is also a good idea for you can get out all those thoughts you don't want to tell anyone else (even your husband!).

hello i am a military wife. my husband is the marines navy corpsman. he goes where they go. i lived many places and i am use to living away from my family. at first it was strange but over time you wil get use to it. make a visit twice a year. when you marry your mom and dad are not your immediate family anymore your husband and your children are. there are many women in the same situation. it will be ok. keep your spirits up and just remember he is in it to serve and protect america. key note when a deployment comes up stay strong and support him. it may be awhile you wont see him but support is what keeps you and your husbands relationship strong. been there, we are in the same shoes!
