President Bush has acted in a manner that was designed to protect the American people. The military is a volunteer service and they chose to be involved. Who are the nay sayers that take pot shots from their couches?

i like your question

veru true. the media has its own ulterior motive and probarly have their own puppet masters pulling their strings

so we have to always be prudent and be objective and read from all sources before we come to a conclusion

well you aren't going like this, but your question makes alot of assumptions about how people go about deciding things, its largely falling into a belief that someone reads something someone and wrote and then takes on the entire tone of that piece which just isn't true. (besides the myth of a liberal media, the media is proven to be far more centered with right conservative leaning than liberal)
but i can read an article written by anybody, lets for this example say rush, and come away thinking something different than what he said.
saying something like, "man x walked quickly down the street after the accident" well where is the bias? well its in the quickly part, thats the reporter deciding how he walked, so you can still come away knowing that: x is a man, there was an accident he may or may not have had anything to do with, and that after it occurred he walked along the street.

"President Bush has acted in a manner that was designed to protect the American people. " thats biased, and there is no evidence to support their is a system designed to protect us that he is following, in fact we know he has gone through quite a bit of trouble to not follow the systems that were in already in place, but to break them and make new ones that he wanted. (ok its more his administration, but lets not split straws)

"The military is a volunteer service and they chose to be involved."
again showing a biased in the way it is misleadingly worded. only those who volunteered after the war started could fall into this category. those before hand did not know what they were choosing to be involved in. besides often misleading tactics by recruiters, they had no way of knowing they might end up in a war based on certain premises that they might disagree with. yes they knew they might go to war, but they didn't have any way of knowing it might be one that they might think is unjustified or for whatever other "wrong" reason. then there are people who were called back to service after already having served, i'm sure they were surprised and did not realize what they were choosing to be involved in.

But you are judging us based on the same information. I don't need a biased media to see that george Bush is an idoit. Verytime Bush opens his mouth he proves that he is again and agin. Do not forget in an interview during the 200 election he was rdiculed for not evn knowing who Kim Jong iL was. So Bush himslef does not know jack about the issues. only what he is told to say by his people. 9/11 proved he was asleep on terrorism, he was wrong about WMD in Iraq, and he and now he is even looking like an idiot in Afghanistan because the Taliban is reforming. No my friend, I am afriad you are the one who is watching too much bias media. You should turn off Fox News and turn on the BBC.

You're right. Still, lets put President Bush on the front lines of Iraq for a day. Then we can get a 'real' president in office for a change! Then we wont have to bash him anymore.... that would be so tragic! *snicker*

And if you asked all branches of the military if they thought that they were "voluntarily" there in Iraq, I know that the answer would be NO, from a great number of our service men and women.

People do not seem to realize that their opinion of the world is also a window of their character. When they bash our President it is a reflection on their lack of willingness to follow a leader who is doing the right thing and has the backbone to do it. Maybe they would rather genocide of the Palestinians.Heck, death to all the infidels! Why should (infidel) Americans care????
My local paper printed NOTHING of the report that they did find WMD. I don't buy it any more. And I watch FOX news because they did.

Yea, and Hitler just wanted to protect the good white German folks from all those nasty Jews. Or, Stalin just wanted to protect his ego.... on and on we could go with that line of history's villains!

Dude, your living in a police state with bars and chains for the mind. PROTECTING YOUR "FREEDOM" IS A MEANS TO A TYRANNICAL END. One world governance has but one, last obstacle - the US Constitution. Our wonderful leaders, from both party's, are doing their best to intellectually bypass the Bill Of Right with every law they vote on. And, yes, the mainstream media are doing their part by not reporting the real news, they would rather the masses focus on what movie star is sleeping with what other movie star. MEDIA
M-ind controlling E-very ones D-ecisions and I-deologies in A-merica = That's what the mainstream is all about!
Now go back to sleep like a good citizen.

George 'Hitler" W. Bush is doing very many things that Hitler did.

If you can't see that, it is because you have chosen to stay ignorant of history.

Hitler claimed to be protecting Germay, and look what happened to them.

Hitler established an "Office of Homeland Security" just like Bush did, and in the same way.

The German Office of Homeland Security was later renamed--

They called it the SS.

That's just one example of many.

Go study. Nazi.

It's a result of the first amendment --freedom of speech. People don't have to know what their talking about in order to speak their mind, or lack of it. It doesn't matter if they get their news from a biased reporter or from their talking alien dog from Sirius.

As we all know, the facts never got in the way of the liberals making a good deal of noise.

Facts and informed individuals are their downfall.
