I would like to see New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner as the Vice President. Why?
Bill Richardson not only has the experience as a congressman, ambassador to the United Nations, Secretary of Energy and a governor of a border state. He personally negotiated with Kim Jong Il for the last treaty agreement we had with him. The man has also a very successful record as governor of a border state and as the head of the National Governor's Association. He is also personable and a firm believer in a balanced budget, which, in my opinion, we need desperately.
Mark Warner was not only the governor of a solid “red” state with a 75% approval rating he has extensive experience in congress as he served as a Senate staff member to Senator Christopher Dodd. He then used his knowledge of federal telecommunications policies as a broker of cellular phone franchise licenses, making a large fortune. As managing director of Columbia Capital Corporation he helped found or was an early investor in a number of technology companies. He co-founded Nextel, as well as Capital Cellular Corporation, and built up an estimated fortune of over $200 million. He has all the contacts and experience that Richardson lacks.
These two would be a powerhouse in the White House and Blair House. I could only hope that they pick Wesley Clark for Defense and Dick Gephardt for Labor. I hope that was explained enough.

Someone who obviously speaks his or her mind and gets across what is going to happen in advance instead of promising things and then never doing any of them... yeah I know that seems hard to do for some people but be reasonable really... I don't think that the person who gets into office should be wishy washy, as in feels one way about things and is totally against whatever the other candidate says then suddenly is for? What's that all about?
People have to realize that things like september 11th would have happened reguarrdless as to who gets into office and that the president did what he had to at that point in time, I'm pretty sure I would have paniced... being in that position would be too much stress for me,.

Well, to be snarky, we could hardly do worse than we have right now.
You know who I'd like to see as president? Jon Stewart. Stephen Colbert would be his running mate, of course.
You think I'm joking, but I honestly believe he could do a good job. He knows everyone in Washington, but doesn't owe lots of favors, unless you think he might be firmly in the pocket of Big Comedy. He has a positive attitude, good ideas, an obvious desire to do the right thing, and he's as disgusted with politics-as-usual as the rest of the electorate.
Other advantages: the State of the Union addresses might actually be worth tuning in to, we'd have our first Jewish president, and Rob Cordry would finally get that anchor position he's been coveting all these years.

Colin Powell or Condi Rice -- I don't want some bedwetting liberal who will ignore the problems in the Middle East and try to hug the terrorists why they toss a bomb in our pocket. I'm not happy about what is going on in Iraq and Iran, but I'd rather it be happening over there than over here.

Ralph Nader. He reminds me more of European presidents, only a bit more pragmatic and...what's the word...rational? It won't happen, of course. He doesn't promise the same bounty regular candidates are so good at failing to deliver.

I hope he is a Republican. The democrats are to sick and perverted. Just the fact that they support gay marriage and they dont want children to say the Pledge of Allegiance in school should say it all.

whatever, you people suck, Democrats will ruin this country. if democrats take over i am going out to the middle of nowhere and becomming a hermit, Liberals will release the masses of murderers from prison onto the law abiding citizens of this country. you will be able to murder your own child until the age of 12, but noone else can murder them, thats your choice cuz its your kid. Whites will be forced into slavery and we will just let countries attack us until there is nothing left.
