Hello.

My name is Juan, and I crossed the border two years ago. My wife has had three kids since then. I regularly take my children to the hospital for free health care, to the grocery store to buy food with my free food stamps, and then enroll them in a school that has to pay for more teachers and print all materials in Spanish for them.

Last week there was an election in Mexico that I couldn't vote for. Isn't it inhumane that I can get all of these wonderful American benefits that should only be available to citizens, yet I can't vote for the President of a country that I don't even live in?

I want to be able to wave my Mexican flag and vote in the Mexican election, and yet still get all of the American benefits that are mine by right because my people rightfully took this country from the indians who took this country from the buffaloes who took this country from the dinosaurs.

Can you help me in my plight? VIVA LA RAZA BLANCA!

From giving Oil Companies 3 billion dollars to drill for oil in the gulf coast at a time when they're raking in billions to starting a war with Iraq that is going to cost nearly a trillion, not to mention the loss of life as a result. We're an intelligent society why haven't we held those in government accountable.

I mean, he is the only black representative in the Senate...and where I think women in the Senate should have initiatives to push forward the concerns and causes of women...I believe that Barack...being the LONE representative for the entire African-American population in the US should push some for African American initiatives.

The idiot had us invade Iraq because he "thought" there were weapons of mass destruction there. (None were found), yet our military continues to fight on. (God Bless them by the way). Now, North Korea tests a nuclear missile launch, and George says: "Let's wait and see what happens". Surely, even the most die-hard Republican can see the idiocy of this stance?

My grandfather passed away in february. The "step" family has decided that the wishes my aunt carried out are not what he wanted, even though he stated to hospice nurses, ministers, funerl workers etc. this is what he wanted. Can they legally get his body exhumed? And if so what has to happen and what kind of costs has to be paid for this?

I think I might have a warrant out of NJ, but I have been pulled over maybe 3 times without feeling the cold metal cuffs. Is there a way without having to pay some stupid online site that tells you nothing? I now live in PA and I don't know if I just pay the motor vehicle fees or am I in more trouble?

I'm talking about social issues...like civil rights and women's suffrage... It's my understanding that the Republican party was the one that was AGAINST slavery and was more I guess, liberal than their conservative democrats from the South... What happened afterwards? Because it seems like during the civil rights movement, it was the opposite... most republicans were voting against black vote and democrats the contrary....

John Murtha, in a session of Congress, shouted down a Republican congressman during debate on the grounds that the Republican had never served in the military. Given that we have a civilian leadership for our military, is Murtha justified in his stance that only soldier and ex-soldier can be allowed to comment on the war?

Given the way the administrations have treated Puerto Rico, a US territory, does it make you proud that the PR government had to shut down because it ran out of money? Does it make you proud to back a so-called "democratic" government when, for PR, there is taxation without representation AND the right to vote in US elections?

Nearly everyone has lost confidence in politicians. They see the majority of them as greedy, selfish and power-hungry. Yet they are supposed to make rules FOR the people they serve. If we had an additional box to tick (like: NO CONFIDENCE), surely this would make them sit up and take note?
