Hello.
My name is Juan, and I crossed the border two years ago. My wife has had three kids since then. I regularly take my children to the hospital for free health care, to the grocery store to buy food with my free food stamps, and then enroll them in a school that has to pay for more teachers and print all materials in Spanish for them.
Last week there was an election in Mexico that I couldn't vote for. Isn't it inhumane that I can get all of these wonderful American benefits that should only be available to citizens, yet I can't vote for the President of a country that I don't even live in?
I want to be able to wave my Mexican flag and vote in the Mexican election, and yet still get all of the American benefits that are mine by right because my people rightfully took this country from the indians who took this country from the buffaloes who took this country from the dinosaurs.
Can you help me in my plight? VIVA LA RAZA BLANCA!

Laugh, for the record, I'm not Mexican. This is what they call 'tongue in cheek' humor. Obviously it wasn't as funny as I had intended.

I put the blanca on the end of La Raza as a joke as well. Instead of a racial group espousing the rights of hispanics to the exclusion of all others, I added the word blanca to change it's focus to white people something that is sacriligous to American society. Hah! A group promoting Euroamerican rights! Blasphemy!

People have a very skewed sense of how "easy" life is for undocumented immigrants in this country. While their lives certainly may be better here than in their homelands, they do not have it easy. They must constantly fear deportment, they do not benefit from our labor standards or our minimum wage (most of the time they work for far less), they work jobs that white people think they are too good to work, they do not get food stamps, and attempts to seek health care or an education run the very real risk that their immigration status will be revealed. All the while, the citizens of this country benefit greatly from the fruits of their labors (who do you think does the dishes in your favorite restaurant or picks the fruits and vegetables you buy at the store?).
Mexicans didn't take this country from the Natives . . . Europeans did (who, by the way, are the ORIGINAL IMMIGRANTS TO THIS COUNTRY). Where do people get this stuff? Certainly not through education. Must be through ignorance and a vivid imagination.

"Juan" if you had went back to Mexico and fought for rights there and actually 'voted' you might have been able to make a start at changing Mexico. But, since you are in the USA illegally and were not there to vote, all the rich people there who DID vote will get what THEY want and Mexico will never change for the better. All the 'poor' Mexicans are in the USA. How can they change Mexico while they are here? OH! I forgot, they send money into Mexico, taking revenue out of the USA forever. Money we will never see again. They get to live here with welfare, health care, subsidized housing and jobs that pay partly in cash so he can look like he makes a low wage and stay on welfare, but reaps part in cash which amounts to a good wage (plus food stamps, AFDC and medicaid)
DEPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!
NO AMNESTY!
NO DOCUMENTATION=NO WELFARE, NO JOB, NO EDUCATION, NO FREE HEALTH CARE, NO FEDERALLY FUNDED AIDE!
SUPPORT THE MINUTEMEN!!
BIG FENCES MAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS!!

Juan, a few things: There are people, families like yours, who are going through proper LEGAL channels and waiting on line to get into the US. Instead you've decided to cut in front of them all.
Your homeland Mexico doesn't sound so great, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to illegally cross into ours. There are proper legal channels you could have chosen to use, as mentioned.
You are putting you and your family in danger of deportation and legal consequences because of your illegal actions.
You were born in the country now called Mexico. Regardless of any ancesteral history, your country has declared itself separate from the US for a long time now. You are therefore an illegal immigrant ... not a misplaced indiginous citizen of the US.
Stop acting victimized and step on line like every other respectable immigrant.

NO! feel sorry for whom? i don't feel sorry for anyone entering a country illegally. i understand the want of a better life but i don't condone doing it the wrong way, and i don't condone this country's doling out benefits the way we do that benefit illegals. i don't agree with bi-lingual education unless its a foreign language class.
i don't agree with amnesty for illegals....file for citizenship if its that important. if mexico is such a great place, why are so many not there? i don't agree with providing the driver's license....driving is a privledge, not a right.
if you didn't get to vote in the mexican election, you probably weren't a registered voter in mexico anyway. the benefits you claim are your right aren't....illegals don't have any CITIZENSHIP rights. and the crap about paying taxes too is a crock.... everyone has to pay sales tax.

Oh my god, yeah if they had all those benefits why would they stay with low income jobs? Undocumented immigrants usually avoid getting health care, food stamps, welfare, etc because they don't want to commit further crimes that could prevent them from someday applying for residency. And they didn't take the country from the Indians, most Mexicans are indigenous. Smart, aren't you?

LA RAZA BLANCA, is that intended to be racist? If your talking about the hispanic race, you don't need to add Blanca, c'mon ese!
Get an american citizenship, it might take some time but just do it.
Even if it take a couple years.

Well just who the hell helped the dinosaurs? Who was on their side? They should demand reparations. They should launch a revolt. How unjust for those poor dinosaurs. Jesse Jackson and the ACLU should be called to assist.
