I mean, he is the only black representative in the Senate...and where I think women in the Senate should have initiatives to push forward the concerns and causes of women...I believe that Barack...being the LONE representative for the entire African-American population in the US should push some for African American initiatives.

Barack-gasms: verb, to be stunned and moved by a black man who speaks like he has actually been to college. The promotion of the white ideals of behavior adopted by a black man who isn't wanted by the police, hasn't been to prison, nor grabs his crotch.

NO ONE HAS ANY IDEA what this guy has said that is any better than what anyone else has said or is saying. You are 100% in favor of this man because:
1. you think he is attractive.
2. he isn't a disgrace like al sharpton.
3. you can push a liberal agenda through someone who isn't threatening-looking, using racism as a crutch, and is basically not jessie jackson.

Again, this guy hasn't said anything noteworthy up to this date that I would consider more intelligent than anyone else. This is race race race and race. Maybe you should re-examine your own attitudes and stereotypes.

Shouldn't representatives push forward the causes and concerns of the people that voted him in, not just one group or another? Also, what initiatives would those be? Are they that different from those of other people? I would be very upset if my male representative only pushed initiatives that favored men and didn't address women too.

I’m sure he’s wonderful. I’m sure that birds suddenly appear when he is near. His mere shadow falling on the sick can heal them. He’s so holy that even Chuck Norris won’t round kick him.

But…

What the hell has he done to qualify him for being president? He has no real experience in anything. Don’t you think our President ought to have some real-world accomplishments?

The dude simply isn’t qualified to be a senator, much less the leader of the free world.

From what I have read, he appears to be a man the wants to represent all people. He is a unifier not a divider. That is actually what you Americans need. Some one to come along and say to you " alright kids stop fightin. Play time is over."

He has demonstrated for all to see how a hard working, honest person can pull himself up by his own boot straps. He earned his election victory, not given a seat in the House of Representatives by affirmative action. What a great role model for all.
