I wonder sometimes if there isn't just one, very uneducated dork sitting behind a computer with several screen names asking all these stupid questions. I certainly hope there aren't this many idiots in the world.

Any "innocent" people who die at the hands of American troops do so by ACCIDENT.

I'll leave it at that because your tiny brain will still filter out only what you want to hear/read.

HAVE A NICE DAY!

If you look throughout history, even in situations like the allied attacks on Germany towards the end of the second world war, there were still occasions where civilian casulaties escalated (the bombing of Dresden for example). Therefore, in any situation where extensive military action is to be taken, no matter how justified, there will always be civilian casualties. Accusing the US of deliberating targeting civilians is in fact a nonsense, as it ignores the plain and obvious fact that the winning the hearts and minds of the iraqi people is the most important objective of present operations in Iraq, as achieving stabilty in the country is the most likely exit for coalition forces. What amazes me is that insurgent groups can attack and kill indiscriminatly within Iraq, and yet this is widely viewed as little more than a natural reaction to the US presence. US withdrawal from Iraq without stability is not an option, as it would inevitably plunge the country, and the region into chaos, and so there is little alternative but to stay and work with the Iraq majority to try and regain some sense of order. US foriegn policy may lack some clear goals, it may have even over simplified the problems inherent in regime change in a volitile region, but this is not the same as having a clear objective to activley kill innocent people (something that Saddam was quite fond of doing, as are terrorists, lets not forget).
Whatever the rights and wrongs of the war, the plain fact now is that there is a chance for a democratic government to exist, something that would never have been possible under Saddam Hussain. Whether it was worth the sacrifice, only time will tell.

I am sorry to say that when there is a war, both sides in a conflict do kill innocent people. The Nazis killed or sit up to be killed a lot of innonce folks during War World 2 including a lot of their own civilian citizens who were caught up in the wave of advancing Russian and American Troops in that conflict. The Japanese during World War 2 also killed a lot of innocent Chinese people as the Japanese tried to over take that country in that war. Many innonce Americans, English and Dutch women held in Japanese prisoners of war camps during World War 2 were force to become prostitutes or "Comfort Women" for the Japanese soldiers during that war. A lot of English People were killed in German bombing raids over England during World War 2, just like German civilians were by American and English airplanes in that conflict. So really when you look at it, no matter where the war is innoncent people will be killed no matter what.

Americans do not like killing innocent people. When war happens, so does the death of innocent people. I am American, I hate war altogether... however, I understand that with terrorists in the world - they risk my freedom and the freedom of my children and their children.

I don't know anyone who likes killing innocent people, EXCEPT those in other countries who are suicide bombers who love killing themselves and taking out anyone they can around them - including children, and babies... and others who are just walking on the road or taking a bus to go to work. Now, THAT is killing innocent people.

Americans are for FREEDOM - for PEACE. For quality of life... Americans are fighting the bad guys who love killing the innocent.

I think you should get your facts straight.

Americans don't "like killing innocent people".Your facts are screwed up.Looks to me like you need to really look at the "militia" from other countries , for example radical Islamist LOVE to blow up other Muslims especially if there in a market place or boarding a school bus, lets not mention the acts of genocide that are committed in Africa on a daily bases . Seems to me when ever an innocent civilian dies the US soldier goes on trial for murder./

Screw you, Americans don't like killing innocent people.
Generally we only kill when highly provoked(shot at). Keep in mind that in every culture there are some people that feel vastly different in this regard. And do not judge the Soldiers in Iraw that are accused before their Court Marshall does. Or wait, were you there?

Don't believe everything the media force feeds you.

They don't, unlike others who like to explode and kill innocent people. Americans are trying to stop evil people from ruining the world. You will understand one day, it's just a lack of education that is holding you back.

Stats prove that the American Military killed quite a lot of friendly forces during the gulf wars. The reason - because they have a **** military and they think they are so good. I speak from experience, most of the American military live on cloud cuckoo land and have watched too many war films.

No sane person LIKES to kill but when religous lunatics kill innocent people and then hide in hospitals and urban neighborhoods, they do not really give anyone a choice. If you do not want innocent people killed then you and your friends come out and settle the matter on the battle field or in the diplomatic arena, not in crowded urban areas.
