I'm against anyone breaking the law or drug taking but it seems that if you're a rich, famous celebrity you can get away with much more than Joe Public.

Take the much beloved Kate Moss. She is discovered and filmed taking drugs, arrested and investigated by the police and let off with a caution. Yet, Kate Moss continues to be adored by the public and earns millions advertising products.

With great wealth, celebrity and fame should come great responsibility as these people are icons of younger and more impressionable people who copy their behaviour even if it's criminal.

Why aren't (popular) celebrities punished under the law and made to suffer for their wrong doings like ordinary people? Is this right? I'd like the views of others on this as I can't be the only one who feels this is wrong. Serious discussions only please as any abuse of yahoo answers will be reported.

Human stupidity knows no bounds. One would expect such rubbish from a *****'s mouth. A white guy no less posted this ignorant statement. Africans were the first to own African slaves. Africans caputered other Africans from other tribes and sold them into slavery to white slave dealers. Would someone do me a favor and push this guy out of a jet?

The Pro-Life movement is VERY diverse. There are even predominately gay/atheist/black groups who are morally disgusted by lib sanctioned infanticide.
Only a small fraction of Americans are in favor for killing babies...it is usually white, single, female 50-60 year old bitter baby boomers who could never find a husband because they are fem-nazis and vile Jewish doctors who just want to kill white, baby Christians. In fact, 88% of all abortionists are Jews...no surprise!

Why is is right to say anyone should get an advantage based solely on sex or skin color. Does a 1/4 mix black from an affluent neighborhood deserve preference over a white kid living in a trailer? Why don't asians qualify? What makes one minority "less advantaged" over another? What percentage of any ethnic group do you have to be to qualify? If you can anwer these then have at it- I think it's all complete madness. The only group that truley needs assistance is the disabled.

Here's the deal: (This applies to some conservatives, specifically Neo-Cons.
Conservatives say they want less government, then why do they want to push an ammendment to make oppose gay marriage? What about laws making illegal to burn the flag? Aren't those just more laws restricting freedom? What about posting the 10 commandments in judicial buildings, when 7 out of the 10 are Holy Laws that would be unconstitutional under our system of government.

His reaction was, “Well I will get congress to enact a law allowing the tribunals.”

Yo, idiot. The supreme court ruled on a constitutional issue. Now get this through your pointy little beady eyed head, congress passing a law will not change that constitutional issue. Unless you want them to tack it on to that Constitutional Amendment banning guy marriages.

Um, there is a course back in High School you must have slept through. It was called “Civics”

You want them to see their day in court? I do too. Make it a normal court where these things should be tried, not some bogus tribunal for conspiracy charges. Believe it or not, the existing court system can handle it. Quit screwing with the Constitution to reflect your warped view of reality.

Oh, and about congress passing that law? Don’t hold your freaking breath. You are out of political coin, you already spent it all. Let me introduce you to the serpent, you ought to get to know him.

From a press conference in Vienna:

QUESTION: And to the president, Mr. President, you said this is absurd. But you might be aware that in Europe, the image of America is still falling and dramatically in some areas. Let me give you some numbers. In Austria, in this country, only 14 percent of the people believe that the United States — what they are doing is good for peace; 64 percent think that it is bad. In the United kingdom, your ally, there are more citizens who believe that the United States policy under your leadership is helping to destabilize the world than Iran. So my question to you is why do you think that you’ve failed so badly to convince Europeans, to win their heads and hearts and minds?

BUSH: Well, yeah, I thought it was absurd for people to think that we’re more dangerous than Iran. I - you know, it’s - we’re a transparent democracy. People know exactly what’s on our mind. We debate things in the open. We’ve got a legislative process that’s active.

in any Q&A forum online it says, "You can have an eye refraction level of no worse than + or – 8.0... Individual jobs have stricter vision requirements in many cases." Does this mean that if your vision is + or -9 you have no hopes. I had thought about lasik, but I read some place that is you do get the procedure, you can not enlist or become an officer. I wanted to ask this question here first rather than be accosted by a recuiter. Thanks taking a look at my question!!!

Okay I am not by any cause getting on here talking bad about Bush. I personally do not like him, but I would never force my opinion on anyone in that matter. Anyhow here is the question. Now that they have set up the government in Irac (or however u spell it) why is our troops still not coming home. My brother is over there and I worry about him all the time. Anyhow; that's my question...
