Anyways, i wanna join the Navy for 4 years but i don't know if i should join when i graduate high school or if i should wait until i get married with her so she can live with me on base. We wanna get married, but not now, once we are 20 then we will. If i go once i graduate i'm afraid she'll forget about me and things will change. I need help making a decision. :(

ONE example:

homeland security was not seet up to stop another 9/11
thats bullshit. the bush regime claimed that it was to prevent more terrorist attacks, but in fact it had been planned for since before 9/11. and not to protect americans from terrorists.
families of 9/11 wanted to know what had happened to their loved ones, and instead of a proactive commision of investigation, they got the homeland security bill. the bill sought to give the Eli Lilly company relief from lawsuits of parents with autistic children who said that their childrens' autism had come from Lilly's use of mercury-based vacine preservation. by the way, the Eli Lilly company contributed over 1.5 million dollars to the bush campaign part in the '02 cycle. Mitch Daniels, then Bush's budget director, had worked for Lilly for more than a decade before joining the team AND Lilly Chairman and CEO Sidney Taurel was appointed to the presidents Homeland Security Advisory Council.

do you still believe your government?

In the Fifties, when someone didn't agree with you they called you a Communist. I think this is an example of how polarized America has become. If you disagree with a certain point-of-view, your're called a liberal, which means you don't have the right to an opinion.

A class action lawsuit was filed on June 20, 2006 in U.S. District Court challenging HB 1059, the Georgia sex offender legislation passed in 2006 by the General Assembly. The named Defendants include Governor Sonny Perdue, Attorney General Thurbert Baker, and Polk County law enforcement officials.

Lawyers from the Southern Center for Human Rights (SCHR) and the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia are seeking a Temporary Restraining Order to stop state and local entities from enforcing the 1,000 feet restrictions from school bus stops on and after its July 1, 2006 effective date.

This afternoon, U.S. District Judge Clarence Cooper ruled that the Temporary Restraining Order applies to everyone on the registry.

I think marijuana should be legal in the United States. I don't smoke it, but I know plenty of people who do. There is such a huge market for it already, we should make it legal and tax the hell out of it. Apply the same laws to it as alcohol, you have to be of a certain age to smoke, you can't smoke and drive, etc. I think it would cut down violent crime considerably. Opinions?

The drastic moves that racists called for have been "effectively sidelined" according to the New York Times. It is a victory for all who Marched on May 1st to protest Bush's larger and more damaging proposals and it put racists like Sensenbrenner in thier place.

Our Government has never secured the borders. With the way border security has been run the last 50 years haven't they ALLOWED these people to come here unchecked and unstopped?

Its been a problem for a while and they have never done anything about it so shouldn't they be to blame for letting the problem get out of hand?
