It really amazes me everyone keeps saying how come were turning this whole illegal immigration thing into a racial issue well probably because alot of people are using words like ******* etc. what is your thought on this?

True as rain my dear. Nobody but you has said anything rational about the whole immigration thing without degrading the Hispanics. There is no need to call names. Somebody might have a valid solution to the problem for both ends, but blow the whole thing by using words like*******etc. You made a very good point. Good Question.

So many people can turn ANY issue into a sounding board for their own personal prejudices. The issue does have it's fringe element of racists. They tend to be more vocal (but certainly less articulate) than it's more thought provoked opponents. Just how much of an argument do you have to make above and beyond Illegal Immigration is Illegal?
I will Gladly live in a neighborhood FULL of skilled, capable, tax paying legal immigrants. Because that is what I wish for from the regular citizens.
You have the racists on one hand, (which you have pointed out), and you have those using the immigrants as pawns as part of their anti-Bush agenda on the other end of the spectrum. They use more "compassionate " language, but care about as much for the people caught in the middle as the racists.

A person who calls someone a racist because they are against illegal immigration is a person who can't defend their position so using the racist or other words is an attempt to shut you up.
They are just plain uneducated losers. What more can one say.

When people lose arguements, they attempt to cry racism. That puts pressure and guilt on Whites and Asians, who have always been taught about how cruel their ancestors were. There is also the issue that many Blacks want the jobs they have, since the projects are majority Black. When this is dubbed racism for various reasons, pressure and guilt is put on Blacks. Also, only children and idiots resort to name-calling in an attempt to win arguments.....

They call us racist because that works for them to get them what they want, but people are wising up to it everyday.
I am sure no one here would think anything of giving 400,000 acres of land to be controlled under the sovereignty of Mexico around Kansas City in a couple years.
What a dumb idea, huh? Then why is it happening??? To extend NAFTA!!
