Very much so, it has always seemed to me that the working class should have the power, the federal government should be a socialoist entity and capitolism should be relegated to the working class only. Business should not intertwine in the affairs of the state.

OK, let's get your terminology straight.

The concept of "ultimate power is derived from the masses" is a Marxist concept. Lenin just spoke out about it.

The 1% in the US that own 1/3rd of the wealth have no fear that the 99% that don't will ever rise up against them. They give just enough of a taste to where the middle class is satisfied with where they are at while the lower classes are held at bay with daily propaganda featuring god and patriotism.

So, no. I don't believe "working-class power" will happen in the US as it is now.

haha, unfortunately Vladimir Ilich failed just a little bit..... and Russia is still suffering from the scars of communism. "power to the people"- I agree. Power to the farmer masses- gotta disagree with Mr. Jefferson there.

No, Leninism takes away free agency. Besides I don't really want to have to stand in line to receive my state issued groceries I'd like to have choice thanks very much. Long live Capitalism.

How'd that Soviet Union experiment turn out, BTW?

Marxism is subject to the same corruption of power as a free market democratic society.
