Our Government has never secured the borders. With the way border security has been run the last 50 years haven't they ALLOWED these people to come here unchecked and unstopped?

Its been a problem for a while and they have never done anything about it so shouldn't they be to blame for letting the problem get out of hand?

Illegal's are used by businesses & big business RUNS our government, together they keep wages too low to actually live on, reinforce the need for illegal's to work here & outsource other jobs to other countries, putting even more Americans out of work...Americans are being pushed out of our own country and our money and jobs are going to other countries, so big businesses can save money on wages & healthcare...I wonder why American's want imigration reform...

Mostly, yes, I blame the government for not enforcing the immigration laws and letting things slide for so long. Now, the government has the chance to try to rectify the wrong that they have done in this area for so long by cracking down on employers who hire illegals and deporting the illegals who are located and securing the border and they had better pay more than lip service to this problem NOW or they will find themselves out of a job come November!

Who is to blame? EVERYBODY! The Democrats for trying to use illegals, who shouldn't be able to vote anyway, to win elections. The Republicans, for getting a majority government and then spending 6+ years doing nothing on the issue. The Border Patrol and the INS, for being generally incompetent and unconcerned, from the very top down. The people of America, for never saying anything or holding YOUR public servants accountable. And if you are an American, and have never: 1. spoken out about this issue or 2. donated money or volunteer effort to ending it, such as the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, then you are a part of the problem as well.

i blame BOTH the government AND the ILLEGALS themselves!!!
You're right, our borders have NOT been secured for as long as i can remember! Illegals have been allowed to just sneak in,at will!
But.the ILLEGALS are ALSO to blame!!!
It's like,if you go off and don't lock the doors on your house, does that give the burglars the RIGHT to come in and ROB you?? Of course NOT!!! It's the same kind of thing! Our government has not "locked" our borders, but that does NOT give illegals the right to sneak into our country, and rob the taxpayers!

I don't call working at the airport, power plants, missile ranges, and big companies that make meals for our soldiers, crappy. Yes, undocumented workers are working at places like this.. A lot of Americans would love to have a job like that. They don't just do sh** jobs over here.. contrary to what some may think..
Guatemalans and El Salvadorians are going into Mexico to take the jobs that Mexicans don't want...So Look who's calling the kettle black!!!

Yes,
I think the government is part of the blame, but also its against the law to come here without proper documents and the illegals know that, but they do it anyway..

While Mexicans denounce the criminalization of their citizens living without legal documents in the U.S. Mexican law classifies undocumented immigration as a felony punishable by up to two years in prison.. But, we are just suppose to open up the gates and let everyone just come on in, without a paper one to prove who they are.. How safe is that?? How fair is that?? I don't get it!!....

Pretty much, but up until about 5-7 years ago, it wasn't such a problem....now, though, the cities are starting to fill up faster than new jobs can be created, there's more crime, there's more people landing in jail that don't speak 2 words of english, it's getting stupid, now...we'e always had immigration, but the rate at which this is progressing is getting really carried away. This is what happens when you try to help other people without teaching them to help themselves....

I think that people would really stop complaining about immigrants. If it wasn't for us, who else would pick up the crappy jobs that no body else wants. They should just accepts us and let it be that. And if the United States is going to start kicking out immigrants maybe we should start from the beginning. Kick everyone out except that Native Americans because they are the only ones who really belong here. And remember, Most of California and Texas use to belong to Mexico, what is to say that they won't just try to reclaim what is ours? Think of that.

I blame both the democrats and republicans, they both are pro illegals because they hire them to raise there kids and do landscaping, They also get nice bribes from interest groups and corporations who hire illegals. Those who supports illegal immigration are the rich, corporations and morons who believe there propaganda that its about human rights. What about the American working class being screwed?

They are both at fault. Now that this has blown up in their faces, they are pretending to care about border security. I don't trust a lying politician as much as I could throw Ted Kennedy by the a--!!!!!!
