ONE example:

homeland security was not seet up to stop another 9/11
thats bullshit. the bush regime claimed that it was to prevent more terrorist attacks, but in fact it had been planned for since before 9/11. and not to protect americans from terrorists.
families of 9/11 wanted to know what had happened to their loved ones, and instead of a proactive commision of investigation, they got the homeland security bill. the bill sought to give the Eli Lilly company relief from lawsuits of parents with autistic children who said that their childrens' autism had come from Lilly's use of mercury-based vacine preservation. by the way, the Eli Lilly company contributed over 1.5 million dollars to the bush campaign part in the '02 cycle. Mitch Daniels, then Bush's budget director, had worked for Lilly for more than a decade before joining the team AND Lilly Chairman and CEO Sidney Taurel was appointed to the presidents Homeland Security Advisory Council.

No person should trust any government. That is why the Constitution of the US Exists. Also the bill of rights. we should always question authority because as soon as we do not the rights we have will dissolve. Most Colleges are hotbeds of activity looking into the workings of the Government and questioning what is going on. George W. just recently cried about an item that was exposed in the New York Times, but the freedom of the press is what is keeping the Government at bay. However we still have to listen with one ear and verify with the other. Data like you are exposing above needs to be carefully analyzed and factual reports need to be given to the people of the US by whatever press is still around that is not bought off by the advertisers and political interests. Yes I still believe my Government, and yes I believe it is full of flaws and needs a lot of work.

The government is made up of bureaucrats and politicians with the primary mission of getting re-elected. Sweetheart deals have always been made. If you think it started with Bush, you're ignorant. Clinton made no-bid contracts with Halliburton just as much as Bush. Eli Lilly along with the tobacco and oil companies contributed to Clinton and the rest of the democrats before Bush.
Despite what the Bush-hating morons keep whining about, graft and pay-offs are part of the bipartisan culture of corruption.

Your liberal intifada does not give you the right to speak for other people there are but a few miscreants who make money off of the sorrow of 9/11. Grow up, read something besides propaganda, maybe, just maybe think of other peoples feeling when you feel a brain fart coming on.
