How long can a stop loss stop movement stay in effect on a unit? Especially when they don't have orders to deploy, or even a location? They are on the list for rotation to Iraq, but they dont have orders yet, and its been that way since day 1.

My husbands unit has been stop lossed since March 1. They keep saying, "oh, we'll leave next month" but they never do. Now they're saying MAYBE in October. How long can they keep us stop lossed? We were supposed to get out in April.

These soldiers are facing murder charges... Conduct and ethnics are very different when you are fighting to stay alive, and I believe that these men and women are doing what they have to do to survive.. What are your opinions? We all need to stop blaming each others parties for what is happening in the Middle East. All the presidents in the last 30 years are somewhat responsible. Look it up.
Carter started it by not siding with the Shah of Iran and taking up with the Allatollah (sp) Reagan-Iran Contra. Bush Sr. irritated Saddan. Clinton, too involved in Monicagate to pay attention, and our current idiot. So I think the blame falls to both parties.

I am trying to make people think.
I have a long list of very good improvements and completed projects made in Iraq. I have pictures community leaders smiling and shaking hands with the soldiers and civillians who made the improvements possible... such as simple medical care that has never been avaliable or even treated water without diseases.
I have never, ever heard the American news report on it or show it. I believe the opinion would change if ALL the news was reported instead of all the bad. What do you think?
And you can't tell me it isn't happening especially if you weren't there. I've seen it with my own eyes.

I hear the AF don't get respect, but why?? they have special operations too, and i would like to be an Aerial Gunner, they get deployed to iraq don't they? I think all branches should get the same respect, and my friend is in the AF and he is in iraq right now, he is a mechanic. He says all of them treat eachother cool, and they ain't talking bad about any branch. All branches are serving the country and they should get the same good respect. They are all from the military and if u dare to talk trash about any of them like the airforce being so light, then get your @ss up and join. If i join the AF it will be because of my family, since they say it's better for the family. But i will still probably end up in the Army.

u could see it right at my house,i live in the us,my neighbors just
on this one block are constantly "improving" their properties,,,choppin down trees,puttin additions and decks on their houses,not just
mowin but "vacuumin" their lawns
this is what most ppl do when they get slightly ahead in their financial situation,,,,not makin the world a better place, not savin
the environment, but fussin with their vanity and material world
and my neighbors? i'm not talkin about once in a while,a new
project gets started almost every week.
