First things first. You need to weed out all the people who didn't vote in 2004. Because if you didn't vote you have no right to complain.

Then you need to realize what you are dealing with is a bunch of spoiled brats that aren't getting their own way.

The whole "Bush Sucks" answer shows a general lack of knowledge about politics and the way the world is controlled. Support for the Democrats means precisely muting criticism for the sake of unity, and covering up the Democrat’s real nature.
"Bush Sucks" is part of this ideology.

It is the act of mindless robots who, given every oportunity to, still refuse to research the facts, identify who exactly is making decisions and why, and as a result, mis-directing thier anger to a little man who did not have a hand (or even a mention) in the whole run up to the war or the massive plans of the neo-cons in the first place.

Bush is just a lap-dog.

These people SUCK... and you should at least know who they are, so you can know who is ruining your lives, and ruining the lives of many others in your name.

If the question is: What you you think of Bush, then that's the proper answer. If the question is: Do you think Bush is doing a good job, then that's the proper answer.

Your statement is non-sensical, because I'm willing to bet that you have heard liberals say lots of other things too. And that their answer to "What do you want to have for dinner?" is not usually "Bush sucks". So, let's ignore the fact that you are massively over-generalizing and just limit your question to political discussions.

Why does 70% of the population disapprove of Bush? Could it be because he's publicly admitted to violating federal laws? Or that he goes on record saying one thing as known fact, only to be proven months later that he was either lying or massively uninformed? Or that he has said the Constitution is "just a g*d*mn piece of paper", and acted in violation of his oath to support and defend it?

I agree that the Democratic Party (as a whole) doesn't have a strong focus. But the options right now seem to be a Fundamentalist Republican regime that feels constitutional protections aren't worth the paper they are printed on, versus a Democratic contingent whose only goals seem to be to reclaim power, without being able to explain how they'd fix any of the problems that currently exist.

But if I had to choose between organized and irrational fundamentalists, and disorganized liberals, I'd take the latter -- because at least the latter are not going to cause as much damage to this country in the short or long term.

Note: I'm neither a liberal nor a democrat. I just find the actions of the current Republican administration, both Congress and Executive, to be so frightening and repulsive that just about anything would be better.

I think if the Republicans want to clean up their act, they better start denouncing the fanatic right-wing elements of their party and get back to being fiscal conservatives that want sensible small government. Not empire builders led by a Commander-in-Sheik who refuses to abide by the Constitution.

The liberal left isn't exactly notorious for its high IQ. I don't mean to sound offensive, but the liberals that I have known aren't really individual thinkers...they seem to adopt whatever opinion seems the most popular at any certain time and make it their own. And when you don't even know WHY you feel a certain way about something, it's easiest to just keep saying that whatever (or whomever) it is sucks. Sometimes in politics you have to be able to think outside the box, and none of these people strike me as the type that are capable of doing that. Obviously there are exceptions, but this has been my impression of liberals in general -- and my experience at Y Answers has only reinforced that opinion.

This is a quote from another person... [Because Bush does suck. If you can't pick up a paper or turn on the T.V. and realize for yourself why Bush sucks, than you need to learn how to read, open your eyes or put on your listening ears.

That's why. They think the news is real and tells the whole story. They don't realize it is a business that is trying to make a profit like any other business. They don't realize that the news, due to free speech, can be mixed with opinions and written in such a way that people draw conclusions to create controversy = interest = profit.

Actually, I've never said, "Bush sucks", even if it is true. I have always stated my position clearly and articulately, as have many other liberal posters. Unfortunately, though, there are some liberals who make asinine, childish remarks without using information to back up their claims, just as there are a lot of conservatives who do the same thing. It's a two-way street!

Bush is a horrible president, why America decided to give him another four years is beyond me. I ask my wife who voted for him and she says "he was the lesser of the two evils." To me that makes no sense, we gave Bush 4 years to f-up America, why not see what the other guy can do? Instead we let Bush continue to run us into the ground, but who cares, in 2 years it won't be his problem anymore.

I am not saying that the Democrats are a whole hell of a lot better. They need to stop fighting with each other and get on one side, so they can get back into Washington.

I here a pot calling the kettle black.

Also you don't have to be a liberal to know that Bush sucks.
You don't really think the 60 some odd percent of all people in America that think he sucks are all liberals do you. Most of them are moderates like me.

oh and by the way BUSH SUCKS

Mindless robots hold Republican-held congress to debates. Same with others on Yahoo Answers.
Republicans can't account for spending so much time on mindless robots. Instead of going out to enjoy their day.

Because the liberals out there in answerland, the media or any where else for that matter can't give a better answer. They can't stand to see the truth when there is no way to lie about it so all they can do is poke a jab at one of the best christian presidents we've had in decades.

Good question and thank you for pointing it out. Well done.
