Maybe you should join the campaign for a British Parliament. Take a look at the government today, most of it is made up of Scots! Then take a look at the governments major spends, (IE), education etc. England gets the least spent on it, and yet it is the only part of the British Isles that does not have its own Parliament. No, this in not the BNP, and this campaign totally disagrees with discrimination in any form, all it wants is a fair trail for the English. I am not sure where you would get info, but a search under Campaign For English Parliament should yield something.

No this is a notion that is put about by tabloid newspapers and swallowed by gullible people. If you are honest and want some honest evidence you need only to look at the people that agree with you and see that they've given no evidence or any examples of this. That should lead an intelligent person to a very simple conclusion.

I believe that, a way to show power and diversity is to have control/opinion/up to a point envolvement, in the affairs of other countries. I do agree that politicians these days are way too eager to takeover and have control. If their goal purely to promote/help create peace, they should not let their own country's affairs and interests fall behind, then it's okay

This concept is true in most western countries, they all seem to have money when somthing happens to a third world country. However if it happens at home it's a different story.

I must admit I'm losing faith in the government. It's like we're the laughing stock of Europe. People know they can "take the Michael" here in the UK.

It's not like that. Big people has to think big. They can't sit and eat while some one else is starving.
