Yesterday watching Fox News I saw something brief about how it would affect the stock market if the war ended. I'm like WTF!? Someone explain to me how and why the stock market is affected by the war.

If I remember correctly, wars generally have a positive affect on the stock market.

Think about it-- take public money (yeah, OUR money), spend a boat-load of it on military equipment, supplies and salaries that are provided (more and more now) by private companies.

They hire people, make more money-- stock price goes up.

that's the theory anyway.

market is more worried about inflation and oil prices than the war.

i am going to provide it a crack, yet my solutions is totally not very lengthy. a million. i easily does no longer have a clue... 2. Nationalism gave hassle-free human beings the inducement to bypass off and wrestle. Wars became once fought through noblemen. This meant that international conflict i turned right into a lot more effective than any conflict previously it. the commercial Revolution replaced the way wars were fought. Tanks and device guns destroyed horse brigades, or perhaps planes were used. i'd say international conflict i became more effective the effect of undesirable administration and negotiation, yet became escilated because of nationalism. 3. because Germany and Austria did not belive they were given a honest deal. Their economic device collapsed, they had to provide decrease back territory and were absolutly humiliated. This did not sit down properly with German and Austrian nationalists, alongside with Adolf Hitler. 4. back i does no longer have a clue.

Instabilty is bad for the market. It makes the cost of risk go up. War creates an increase in instabilty. End of War will bring stability...(maybe).
