You can go to the County Clerk's office in the county that the person lived in upon discharge. Ask for a copy of this persons dd-214. This document will give you all of the information.

If they got out legally from the military they should have a paper called a DD-214. That will have the details of their discharge.

It depends who you are. if you are an employer they have to disclose what they have for a discharge. other then that ,unless it is a court case for reference you could find out. But after that it isnt your business.
