The Seabees are the Construction Battalions of the United States Navy. The Seabees have a history of building bases, bulldozing and paving thousands of miles of roadway and airstrips, and accomplishing myriad other construction projects in a wide variety of military theatres dating back to World War II.

The SeaBees are the construction battalion of the Navy. They aren't tougher than Marines but they aren't weaker either. The Marines go in and kick ***, the SeaBees build the bases, The Army and Air Force come in to help (Air Force usually waits until the base has an exchange store and movie theater, only the best for them). The Navy is off shore the whole time helping out. They brought the Marines over along with the SeaBees. SeaBees kick @$$ and I wanted to be one but the wait to leave for boot camp would have been 8 months! I opted for the aviation side of the Navy and left within the month.

SEABEES are the Navy's construction unit. They are the ones who go in first and build the roads, etc., for the Marines to come in on to do what fighting is left. The ONLY ones tougher than Seabees are SEALS. BAD motor scooters.

The Seabees are a portion of the Navy that doesn't go out on ships and they typically do stuff like building things on base. I'm sure there are some of them that are tougher than some Marines.

SeaBees = CBs = Construction Battalion. No they're not tougher than marines generally speaking, although both CBs and Marines are part of the NAVY

SeaBees do not fight, they build. They are construction workers. "Plumbers Kick A$$." Marines are not that tough either. Historically, they were, but no more. The best Marines (Force Recon) are graduates of Army Airborne, Army Air Assault and Army Ranger schools. Hmmm...tougher than anyone, not really. There are more Rangers in the Army than Marines total.

Sorry Mark W, when you say that Seabees don't fight, may I suggest that you do a web search for a "Marvin shields" or the wall for Donald Haskins. You may find that we did fight.
