I have a tan-furred male dwarf rabbit who is 5 months old. He is very independent and does not like being carried. He is very sweet and has never bitten. He's very mishcevious which makes him even mor independent and a little aloof. Can you tell me any games I can play with my rabbit? Can you also give me any ideas to make my rabbit happier, and more comfortable with me. He so cute, soft and small and I just want to carry him and snuggle him.

PS If any of you are rabbit owners can you please tell me what games you play with your rabbit, anything will be appreciated

Do you see eating animals as 1 less pest?
Or pets as a way to develop a loving relation?

Do you love animals only when your eating them?
Or do you like them as best friends?

Are there some fence stragglers among you, trying to have the best of both worlds? Eating some here, petting some there?

What kind of animal lover are you?

Alright so here's the deal.My female mouse,Susie just had ten baby mice! YAY! :) But anyways she has been a very good mother so far.Now we have another female mouse sharing a cage with Susie. Is this a good idea or should I put her in another cage? Also, what can I do to keep the babies and their mother healthy? I already keep the food bowl clean and the food fresh, replace the water every couple of days and I just changed the bedding.(I kept the babies and Susie in because I was afraid to move them lol) but i got most of the bedding out and replaced it with fresh and soft bedding.I kept the nest though.
What else can I do to keep them healthy? And is having another female mouse in the cage a good idea? Also,What do I do as they get a bit older? We are going to sell them back to were we bought them but I want to keep them healthy.
P.S- I KNOW that the "other female" is in fact a female.Susie was pregnant when we got her and Dot ,"the other female", doesn't have any male parts.

I have an 18 year old Thoroughbred, however he wasn't even broken in at all until he was 10 years old-- so he doesnt have 15 years of work on his legs like most other horses that age. Hes not showing signs of MUCH stiffness and NO lameness at all but his neck and joints in his legs snap, crackle and pop even after riding! (haha) So could you guys recommend some joint supplements that i can put with his feed or something? But nothing TOO strong that is made for really old horses, because he really isnt that old considering his past....THANKS!

I know that it's dangerous and not very practical to keep a raccoon as a pet, but what about just becoming friendly with one that lives in my backyard? There's a cute little raccoon that comes in my garage at night and eats my cat's food. He looks like he doesn't have rabies. He's very cute. Are there any potential problems with just tossing him some food whenever I see him? Is it ok to pet him, if I'm very careful?

I only like cats. But i would like a little tiger to grow up with.

My cat is (sort of) a little tiger. He does'nt play anymore, just sleeps on my belly.

No matter how i sleep, he finds a leg or arm to sleep on.

I've also had chipmunks, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, budgies.
My dad even brought a live lobster home, which ate the fish : (

What is your ideal pet? lol

My eight month old syrian hamster has a massive infection on his neck that spreads under his left arm like a tumor. We have a few options, and I don't know what to do.

1). We could give him antibiotics, but with the size and location, they wouldn't do much.
2). We could do surgery to remove the infection, but there is only a 50% survival rate.

I don't know what to do. He isn't very comfortable, so I have to do something.

Ok I dont know how old my hamster really is but he is a dwarf campbell russian hamster and he is like 2 1/2 inches. i had him for a month and 2 weeks. and i just got him a wheel i week ago to put in his cage. the first day hje didnt know what it was but now he has the hang of it. what i wanted to ask is why my hamster runs on it like at 11pm-8am[which is when i wake up to go to school, i see him getting ready to go to sleep and is usally asleep by the time i leave 8:25]. and at the day he is like so inactive all he does is sleep drink and eat. and usually at 10:30pm+ he is very active. he runs on his wheel and stops for some reason evry like 20 turns, and then starts again is this normal? also i know hamsters are nocturnal but why is he so lazy at day. usually he wakes up when i open his cage and he walks on my hand[and is very docile so he walks slowly on my hands being calm and not acting all hyped like he does at night so yeah is this normal for my hamster to be acting the way he is?

ok well my brother was walkin to the bus stop this morning and he noticed a small young looking shrew running around in circles out in the open. now it has been at least 7 hours and it was still there but just sitting and eating grass. we put it in a cup (caution of rabies) and it was not scared at all (not normal) it looked healthy and it hasnt shown any signs of gettin weaker and its eating and dopin good but what should we do? should we see if its ok over night and release it in the morning? im jus afraid it will get easlily eaten because it acts very strange. I think it may have eaten rat poisen from a garden or something because it does just run around in circles and doesnt act normal. so what should i do? i really want to help?
