one male rabbit is a year and a half old and the other rabbit is five months old

We have two rabbits at our house and the newest one is young rabbit (that we got about 3 days ago) and the other one is almost 2 years old (in Sept.). They are also in seprate cages, the older one lives in the family room and the younger one lives in my brother's room. They are both females and so far they get along pretty well, expect when the younger bunny goes under the table in our family room with the older bunny the older one pushes the younger one out from under the table. But when they are in the middle of the room and in the backyard they are perfectly fine with each other and can be near each other without any problems.

So could this be just over hideouts and what belongs to which bunny? Since they are both females are their any future problems that we need to deal with before it becomes a major issue? Or do you think we should be fine with our little bunnies?

Call me non-PC, I just don't get people who want to control the "darkside" of nature. In nature it's the strongest, shrewdest and ruthless that survive. We all watch Meerkat Manor. Flower kicked out her sister - who was pregnant. The gang Lazuli are a threat to the Whisker's family - might kill the unprotected babies. So here we are accepting this side of nature, but only because it's in Africa and it's amongst a species we don't consider "pets".

Now here, we have a concrete jungle with an ecology all it's own. We won't allow large predators just in case one of us/our children/or our pets become the prey. So how does one keep our ecosystem healthy? Poisen? Is that healthy?

We have smaller predators available. Sure, that means those particular animals who CHOOSE to be free and NOT our sterile slaves must also accept the ugly truth of life outdoors. But THAT IS THEIR CHOICE!
Does a housecat/dog CHOOSE to become sterile and forgo then end all and be all of life? Why not?

I am moving into an apartment that doesn't allow dogs and I can't get a cat because of an allergic roomate. I was thinking about something like a guinea pig, but I don't know much about these animals. I would like something fairly small, cute, and inexpensive (NO TARANTULAS!)

When my horse is out in the Wash Rack she will sometimes paw against the wet floor, should I condone this or what can I do to make her stop? Also, when I take her out to the pasture her head becomes high before I talk off her halter, and as soon as I take her off the hatler she bolts off. What am I doing wrong and what should I do? Also, I was walking her around in the arena, she hasn't been there for 8 months but when she saw herself in the mirror she panicked and accidenltey stepped on my back foot. How can I better calm her down, and prevent her from stepping on me again? This is my first horse, she is a 15'2 Appy, thanks!

Is adoption places the only place where I can buy a cat or a dog? I thought pet stores just put them in a basket or something and you can choose? But I can't seem to find any cats/dogs around local pet stores, just small animals(parakeets) and reptiles. I'm confused?

I just heard that there's a recall on a ton of different pet foods,
from Purina, and a couple other unknown ones. It's causing renal failure and death.
Go to the FDA for more info, but I'd advise not feeding your pets any canned or dry
pet food until they release what exactly the recall applies to tomorrow.
I'm worried now, we've been feeding our cats Purina all month.
Please, please look into this if you have pets.

Okay I want to know why do shelters put animals that are perfectly fine to sleep??

And if nobody wants the animal for adoption they should atleast give the animal to a bigger orginazation so they dont have to put the animal to sleep RIGHT.

Please give me some facts and some quotations of people saying why they put animals to sleep.

Thanks

Hey it's me again asking more questions about the horse im adopting in aug.! I just wanted to kno what u guys think are the best horse care products? i.e. shampoos, dewormers, thrush treatments, hoof care products, supplements, fly/pest sprays, etc.

As I have told many of u before i will be adopting my first horse and since im not that experienced with riding im going to be adopting an older (around 10) semi bombproof horse!

I was also wondering if this was a good first aid kit

My vet recommended this and feeds it to his own dog, but I’ve heard nothing but negative things about it here. So here’s my question: What’s wrong with IAMS? Why does my vet think it’s fine, but people here don’t? What’s the basis for hating it? If my vet says it's fine but some random person here says it's not, who should I believe? Will it actually hurt my dog?

What should I be feeding her instead?

It seems like a lot of the hate for IAMS stems from this idea that no “good” dog food could possibly be sold in a grocery store. Is this just an ignorant misconception? After all, the huge majority of pet owners feet their animals whatever they pick up when they do their shopping, and their pets live long healthy lives.

I need more information about this, but please only answer if you really know what you’re talking about. I’m not looking for someone to repeat something they read by some random user on Yahoo! Answers as fact.
