First of all you just got him right? dont touch for atleast 3 days , to let him know his surroundings[ i know this sounds like along time because you want to handle him but be patient] What you can do is talk to him and put your finger near him so he can smeel you[hamsters dont have very good eyesight so they use their hearing and smelling more then eyesight. after 3-7days you can try to let him walk into your hand. if he does not want to. dont pressure him he needs to know his surroundings first so he needs to get used to his new cage, and stead of the other one that he was in at the petstore. Well what this all sums up is to take it easy and slowly dont pressure, this can give him stress and have dhiarrea sometimes it gets really bad and its a diesease called "wet-tail" so please handle him slow and easy. All this procces will help you tame your hamster more then he already is[some hamsters bite].. hope this helped.
