Did grain take a sudden hike in price?

My horse feed just jumped up by 95 cents.

Its a textured feed.

up to 8.60 a 50 lbs bag now. ouch.

Corn futures are skyrocketing, like double the normal price per bushel, due to the ethnol policy of the goverment. Of course since there is a certain amount of subistitution of grain possible (a can feed pigs wheat or oats as well as corn) the price of all grain is rising.....
