i took Max to the vet after he started acting strange, vomiting, drinking and peeing alot, not eating and sleeping all the time, this was unlike my baby. after some blood work we found out he has kidney failure, most definately from the recalled food. he was visiting with my mom a week ago and she knows that i give him 2 whiskas packs a day because its his favorite treat.in anticipation of his visit she went to lablaws and picked up some of the presidents choice packages. after she found out PC was on the recall list she checked the dates on the packages and found that what she had was recalled. tomorrow morning he will be going back to the vets for 48hrs of IV treatment. im so upset. i dont know what to do, i feel helpless and im so mad. i love him so much. i just cant believe it. . i didnt even know about the recall when i first saw he was sick :S so watch ur pets closely. and my poor mom thinks its partialy her fault. this is awful. i wanna do something but i dont know what. :(

It is so hard to keep pop here. It would be so much easier if somebody could find a way to let my dog produce my cola instead of going to the store all of the time. Why is there not research on producing pop using you pet? Yes, it is getting grannys nighty-night time but please understand that I am desperate for cola.

I'm going to be getting hedgehogs and I read online that you can feed them cat food. I was wandering what cat foods are good? Would Purina or Iams be good? What other foods do you feed your hedgehogs?

My cat that I love so so much died on 3/15/07 of chronic renal (kidney) failure. I am an emotional wreck because Rings died. I ran up a bill of $3000 frantically trying to save Rings but I could not. The food I fed Rings was Iams. Can I do something to get them to pay for his bill or acknowledge that they killed my beloved Rings? He was such a spoiled, beautiful, conceited, chubby and mean orange cat that can never ever be replaced. I am heartbroken.

Anyone know where I can download a free copy of the new tests for training and first level?

I just turned 22 and don't fit in to the junior category anymore, so the membership fee is a little too much for a poor college student. Plus I only do schooling shows, so I do not technically need the membership.

Know of anywhere to download them for free? I heard that USDF offers them, but I can not find them anywhere on the website.

My hamster always picks out his favorite foods out of his dish but leaves the alfalfa pellets and brown pellets left. I know how important the alfalfa is to his diet, so I got him an alfalfa house/chew but he doesn't touch it.

I want him to have a healthy diet, but also want him to eat and be happy. Should I just leave the pellets in his bowl and not replace his food until he is done, or should I keep changing the food?

I feed him ecotrition food with insta grain and supplement his diet with dark leafy veggies and the occasional hamster drop or fresh fruit.

i'm not sure if my rabbits are fighting but everytime i enter the room they start running around in the cage grunting and they tend to hit the side of the cage and when i stick my hand to put in food one of them would bite me so now i wear a glove and sometimes when i put in the food they would run into my hand and knock over all the food. i thought that they were just hungry because i feed them once a day but they tend to do that almost all the time now. some 1 plz help me

I want to dedicate the answers on this to a Chihuahua named Chico, & other companions that have passed as a result of the tainted pet food. Could anyone please give us a list of symptoms for renal failure, or whatever it is that is endangering our precious friends. My son's room is a mess, clothes everywhere, and dishes, cups, he's 13, and my mom said to let him keep his room the way he wants, but, it's getting to be too much, we had two gray "mice?"with a long tail come into the house, it took 4 little blocks of blue decon to kill them, you could see where they were chewing on it.
I saw one of them, just running around and around in circles, it couldn't stop, is that what Decon does?
And is it a rat or a mouse? I've never seen a mouse with such a long tail?
