ive had a hamster, and as far as i know they dont sweat,but they dont like the cold, mine would lay on its back when it got hot, lol, just make sure it has plenty of fresh water, at room temperature

They do not sweat, but if you have their cage in direct sunlight and they get too hot, they will be quite uncomfortable and pant a little like a dog. Make sure they are kept out of the sun and away from sources of heat.

yea i put little sweat bands on my hamster for after he goes running on the wheel to soak up all his sweat. you should see him hes rockin the sweat bands, well actually i dont even have a hamster. But im not sure how you can tell because they are covered in hair. maybe they pant like a dog? idk

i have raised dozens and dozens, i never saw even one sweat. and once our central air went out for about two weeks and if they didn't sweat then I'd say they never do!!

I read they do sweat and gerbils don't.
