Gidget is still fat as ever. She is currently 69 days pregnant today. I am hoping that they will come tonight. She is still drinking and eating, but not as active as she has been. Pretty much wanting to find a nice spot and lay down for awhile. Her bones are 2 fingertips now, so I know it want be to much longer. The babies are still moving but have slowed down some, I guess cause there isn't anymore room. I can feel their teeth grinding when I hold her. Well, just an update on how Gidget is doing. I'll keep ya'll posted.

I live in NY but does not have to be in NY. Willing to travel as family recently lost ours from some inconsiderate person who ran her over and didnt even stop. 4 kids who are mourning, want to replace her. Found a few on petfinder, One is identical but just paid 250 to have her cremated and they want 300 for this one at the adoption center. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas. Need female as have other male dog in household.

I have a mouse in my attic. I could hear it chewing in my walls of my house. If I put poison or traps up in the attic and the mouse dies, will it start to smell as the mouse decays?

my mom and stepdad are moving to texas in june and i wont be able to get a horse til then but im looking now.. i was hoping someone on here would know where i could get cheap horses or free or $500-$3000.. im looking for a horse already in texas..i would have to work something out so it could stay with the owner until june and then i could get it but i really want a horse.. its one of my dreams!! i would be so happy.. lol

My hamster is almost 2 years old. I heard that their life expectancy is about 2 years. What should I do with her remain whenshe dies? What do people usually do? What would you do? It would be a very sad day for me. It'll be good if she'll be on Guiness for living 100 years. I intend to live till at least 150.

My baby hamster was fine in the morning when I went out. After I came back in the afternoon, it was motionless in the food container (it like to stay inside the food container). I took it up and gave it a little shake, but it did not respond. Its hands and legs were tightly crouched, eyes slightly opened but had dried up. Its body was still warm when I took it up, so I guess it died a few minutes before I reached my home (so sad, why can't it wait a bit more?). After a while, its hands and legs slowly relaxed and the body turned cold. I don't know why this happen. I put it together with its father in a cage and sometimes it got frightened by its father and would scream. Could it have died from shock when I was not around? It is also the child of the father and his daughter (inbreeding) and I heard that this is not good. Could this be the reason why it died? What can be deduced from tightly crouched hands and legs?

I belive they should pass one but it should be until the number of pets in shelters dies down a little. Stats show that 10-12 (64%) million animals in shelters are euthanized in shelters for lack of available homes.Pure breds are 30% of all the animals in shelters. For home you find an animal that you have bred, a home is lost for a shelter animal.

Vaccinations and Vet fees being the two most important and more than likely the most expensive. It's cruelty to your pet if you can't afford the vets bills! Think before you buy one!
