Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me? People with animals who then say something is wrong with it and can anyone tell them what online as they have no money for a vet? It makes me angry and upset to think of all the poor animals in pain because their stupid owners are poor.
If you cannot afford possible vet fees, do not get a pet please.

My six year old Mare broke her legs and needed to be put down so I hung her in my back garden (about 100ft x 100ft) and have started to butcher her so we can eat the meat. My neighbour is not happy and says what I'm doing is illegal. I don't know why, it can't be because of the smell because as it's so cold she hardly smells at all yet. can anyone help?

Cats carry toxoplasmosis which can cause pregnant women to miscarry. Toxoplasmosis can be fatal to some species. It is not true that cats bury their poo. Since new neighbours moved in with a cat, the lady next door has been constantly moving cat poo from her back lawn so that her grandchildren do not tread (or worse) in it. A different cat frequently poos on my front lawn.

I am trying to encourage animal adoptions to prevent over breeding and animal abuse/ abandonment. Honest answers are imperative to obtain an accurate consensus. If I can find out why people would rather have a newborn and hear their own preferences or concerns about adoptions, then possibly, I can develop an approach to meet such apprehensions with a reassuring and very gratifying alternative.

ok my 5 month old male rat has had a companion in the same cage for a week now and they were fine until tonight when he attacked the much younger rat. he's never done this before my friend even brings her rats over for play dates. why could he be doing this? also i need to know how to make a temporary cage for the night so that the younger one can be safe until i can get another one since the cat knocked our spare cage over and broke it.

Every morning when I wake up I have to smile when I see my girls. My drive home from work I get so excited to come home and see them. Hubby and I both agree the best place is to be home with them. I thank God every day for my dogs, and feel so blessed to have them in my life. Anyone else this much in love with their pets ? Or am I such a weirdo ?

We got my brother (he's 13) a kitten and I (I'm a 14 year old girl) had many name ideas that I knew he wouldn't go for, so I made up a list of names he WOULD like. He has been gone since Sunday and this little kitten (a boy kitten) was a surprise. Today he came home and my parents said it was totally up to him because his cat just died. Some of the names were baseball oriented, most of them I didn't love but I thought he would like. So I tell him my list (which everyone else seemed to like) and he thinks about it for a second, says they're okay and then chooses (drumroll if you please)

SEVEN! Seven! Yup, like the number 7!! I was like in tears, this sweet little kitten doesn't deserve such a horrible name. It apparently is from some tv show or something but still. Isn't that the WORST name EVER!!

I know a number of states now have stricter laws on animal cruelty, but unforunetly not where I live...The more I think of this the madder I get, because I see animals being neglected often, and all I hear is "the laws here are not the best, so not much we can do"..I know several months back a young kid broke into a women's barn and multilated over thirty chicken, peacocks, and cats (they died VERY painful deaths) and all he got was probabtion...Im sick and tired of these POS people and feel like I NEED to do all I can do to help change these laws. Ive written local reps and encouraged friends and family to write, but not everyone feels this is such an important issue. Where do I turn? What can I do to help change these laws? All of you animal lovers know this heartache....

The horse I ride can be pretty resistant to going in a frame, so I try using my leg and pushing him while keeping rein contact and jiggling the reins a little bit back and forth, and sometimes that works, but only for a second. What is the correct way to ask a horse to go into a frame while you're riding and keep it that way?
