Right now the female and the male are in a tank with other fish, gravel and a filter. I think that this is wrong. The female has her "plump" belly...but nothing else is happening. Does she need to be removed and out into their own bowl? Will she die if the eggs are not sqeezed from her? please HELP

I have decided to get some Glowlight Danios for my 10 gal. tank. I was wonderng if anybody can give me some pointers on keeping them alive and healthy? The tank is furnished with your basics (filter, heater, etc.) and is planted with some crypts, a java fern and an anubias plant. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 30 gallon tropical tank with comunity fish in it - mollys, a spotted dojo, some tetras. My mollys have been giving me issues, they are the only fish who have gotten sick or died at all. I swore I wouldn't get any more, but then my last girl died off... all I have now is a boy and a little baby (female). Should I get a few more females for him to keep company? Will it really be upsetting for him to not have any other adult mollys around?
Also, if I do go ahead and get a few more female mollys I'd like to protect the rest of the tank from them for a while to make sure they're nto bringing any diseases into the tank. Any suggestions as to how long I should keep them in the second smaller tank before introducing them to the rest of the group?

He's sticking to one corner of his fish tank, blowing bubbles. I was told this has something to do with their mating instincts, but I don't want to get him a girlie to "play" with. Yet, he doesn't seem to be eating. I seen him eat one, out of the four pellets I gave him, and there is quite a bit of them which have sunk to the bottom. Is there anything I should be doing, to help him with his frustrated libido? He's also not moving much, just in circles, in the corner he has chosen to be in.

My friend's angel fish layed eggs 2 times. The first time the angel fish ate them. The second time my friend took them out of the tank and put them in a different tank. They started detaching from the eggs but then they died. Why can't she keep her angel fish babies alive?

thanks

I have just bought 2 new male guppies and before I added them to my tank I had a plec and just one male guppy.
Now I have put them in - the old one is really agressive and chasing the poor new ones. Is this simply down to a terrotorial guppy?

A few days later, one of my black finned shark fish started growing some weird skin disease. Whats going on. The disease, covered my fishes head, fins and eyes. He couldnt eat, and I had to flush him down the toilet before he got worse. I dont what this to happen again. Was it the Algea?? Whats going on??

When I pull my sponge filter (from a suction cup) off the bottom of the tank up out of the aquarium all the dirt and slime spills into the water. There isn't much left to wash off the sponge and the dirt is still floating in the water. I've tried grabbing the sponge with a paper towel or plastic bag over my hand to keep dirt from floating off, but it doesn't seem to work.
