is it time for laying eggs for my gold fish?

My fish is 2.5 inches long excluding the tail. it is approximetely 6 months old. By the way is it breeding time for them... pl

Most goldfish lay eggs in the spring, some do lay them in the beginning of fall though.

My stupid goldfish didn't start laying eggs until she was 12 years old.
