Well since you found babies, your fish is having babies. Depending on the kind of fish you have, you should separate the Mom and her babies from the father. He will eat them.

Just Q brings up a VERY good point. It depends what your fish is, if it is a live bearer or not. Eggs can travel from one tank to another although it is likely it was your fish that had them. What kind of fish is it? Watch out as many eat their young. I know too many people here the question may have seemed intellectually undistinguished, he may have been legitimate

Not all fish "have" babies.
You need to know what breed of fish you have and see if that particular breed gives live birth.
Most fish have to lay eggs and those eggs need to be fertilized by a male.
If your fish is one of the breeds that has live babies you will probably see her stomach grow during gestation and at birth you might see her "spit out" her babies.

Mine did that too! It could only be that fish, cause I had a male and female beta. Thats it. Then I had two. But it might have been a boy baby cause the big beta ate it.

If you found 2 in the tank, then you are a lucky person. Your female had babies!! If your female is a betta, then take the female out or else the male will kill it.
