I used to have three red bellys in a 75 gallon tank. It was a planted tank with lots of lighting, so the glass needed scraping all the time. Plecos are supposedly ok with piranha so long as they are big enough, so I put a huge, scaly pleco in there. ...that didn't work out so well. I think they were used to anything I put in the tank being food. It might have worked out if the pleco was in the tank when the piranha were small.

Something tells me something will go wrong with an electric cat in there too. If you try it though, I'd be curious to know how it works out.

Pirranhas will eat anything that is meat...I personally wouldn't reccomend it. Someone mentioned above about getting a bigger one so that it doesn't fit in their mouths...I don't think size will really matter because if they can't get it in one chomp they will just eat it in bits and pieces. I would definently ask the pet store owners and see what they say. I just personally don't think its a good idea.

just get a big enough one so it wont fit in their mouth. My oscars ate the tail off my smaller catfish. The bigger one wont fit in their mouths, so they dont bother it.

you can have it for now but later you might want to have a larger tank for it...... may be with some huge Oscars.....
