The saltwater fish should be cheap like $5 and can be bought in pet stores or aquarium shops. How much does the saltwater fish cost?

I noticed this morning that my Beta has a ton of bubbles at the top of his tank...why is this?? We have 2 tanks with a Beta in each, and this one particular fish has bubbles in his...Something that I should be concerned about? We have only had him for maybe a week or so.. And I have changed his water once already....

Hi-I have a betta fish since this spring. I live in the North east, and it is starting to get cold here. Currently, my betta is in a tank with no heater. He has been doing fine all summer, but I am starting to wonder how he will do this winter.

Should I buy a tank with a heater for him for the winter or will he be alright without one?

I have a 45 gallon tank. The people we bought it off of gave us the fish that were in it too. 2 Angelfish and 2 Rasboras. Well we wanted more so we went and got 5 Danios, a Betta and 2 Pictus Catfish. This morning my fiance wakes up to feed the fish and one Rasbora is dead(the lady we got them from told us they were old) And our Betta's fins were shreaded. I think it was the Angelfish, they are big. I have seen on some websites that Bettas and Angelfish are compatable. Was it the angelfish? Also can anyone give me a link to website that is accurate? I don't want to make a mistake like this again. And do you think my Betta will recover?

I bought golden fishes about two weeks ago.
Then I use Sera Costapur(first day, third day, fifth day and I changed to 1/4 aquarium's water on the seventh day.
On the prospectus normal dosage: on the 1st and 3rd day add 22 drops for each 40 litres(10.5 US gal.) of aquarium water, in serve cases dosage again on the 5th and 7th day.
A slight increase in temperature aeration the same time will speed up the healing process.
But they still ill. I don't understand nothing.

I don't have the receipt anymore. He is a freshwater fiddler? crab and ate one of my fish and now one is pregnant so I think he will probably eat the eggs when she lays them. He is an annoyance. Will they take him back and refund my money without the receipt?

I have been told that they will eat other beat fish.. but are they ok with any other type of fish? Or will they eat them too? Are they suppose to be alone to keep them from harming each other??

I bought the tank for my daughter, and wanted to get a live plant but pet store (2 people) recomended against it so I bought a fake plant which I know will just accrue algae... I thought it would/could provide oxygen, and not sure if they could nibble @ it for nourishment or not. Would it make the fish happier, (ok I know that was a strange last question, but Im thinking about their habitat. Any thing else I should put in the tank for a neon or algae eater? Thanks for your comments.

It is not a lagre pond - maybe 3 foot x 2 foot with two goldfish, who have (as far as I know) enjoyed an uninterrupted existence.

Will the cane toads poison the water, or are the fish immune to such things. My thoughts are that the toads will only secrete posiion if agitated....but I could well be wrong?

Any advice? Thanks guys
