Fish - August 2006

They have a jerking motion and stay at the water edge and stick to the side. I had just changed the water. I checked with the water company to see if any kind of bacteria had gotten in the water and they said no. I had 5 neon fish and they all died. I have a betta also, but took it out of the aquarium and put it in a seperate fish bowl. He seems to be doing ok and I don't see any of the worms in the water.

I had many Coy fish all the in the same tank as my sucker fish and all my fish were dead today except my Sucker Fish! Does anyone know why or how this could have happened????

yes they are real, they are called Pacus, which are a cousin of the piranah... but anyway, its eating my real plants (duh i know it will because its a vegaterian) but will it eat any fish flakes? does anyone else have one of these that will eat fish flakes?

He looks like he is wearing a white mask, as though his whole face is about to peel off. The rest of him looks fine and he is behaving normally. Another cherry barb died recently but didnt have the same symptoms.

No other fish have been introduced into the tank recently but due to the heatwave it has been difficult to control the temperature and one day it got to 30 degrees (usually 26!). I havent quarantined him as his behaviour is ok and I'm wondering could it just be old age (he is over 2 years old)?

I have cab gold, blue gold, gold fishes, black molly, tiger fishes and zebra fishes. I had three pregnant fishes.
