I had many Coy fish all the in the same tank as my sucker fish and all my fish were dead today except my Sucker Fish! Does anyone know why or how this could have happened????

I highly doubt that the Sucker FIsh did it because I have had these fish for 20 years and they have been in the same tank together.

Sounds like a disease to lose so many at once.
Coy can get disease that only affect them, and not over fish
like this reported here (I am sure other diseases exist)

its just because they were old and fish die for no reason sometimes but maybe you over feed your fish or your tank wasnt clean enough and maybe your water had something to do with it i know thats my problem with mine so i buy some chemical stuff for it that dosnt kill my fish but cleans my water and keeps my fish alive longer so just ask your fish person at the store you get your fish at and maybe there was a disease in the water and they all got it and dies from it and maybe your sucker fish had a disease and got it in the water and killed you coy maybe you should go and take one of the dead coys to a fish person and ask them why they died because that would be the only way you got a true answer as why your fish died

It doesn't matter how long you have had them- fish change.

Plecos and other algae eaters are notorious for eating the slime coat off goldies. Sometimes this takes a really long time to matter. It normally does kill them though. Your Koi were living with a weakened immunity because of their patchy slime coat- compliments of your suker. This made them more susceptible to parasites and changes in water chemistry. Prolonged exposure to your slime coat-hungry sucker just made things worse.

Anything could have killed them- the sucker probably lived because he was not under the stress they were.

That'd be Koi unless they were shy and pert!
