I have an Old English Sheepdog. They also are known as bobtails. Please answer. I really need to know even though she can't have puppies. At least give me an estimate on just an average dog.

I'm selling home made dog biscuits at a craft show, we are selling 6 plus a white chocolate dipped treat (white chocolate is o.k. for dogs) for $5. They don't have a long shelve life because they're all natural. so would you buy this if you saw it?? I want to know if people will buy them.

With Virbac Epi Otic Ear Cleaner burning or stinging their dogs ears after it's been applied, since it does not have alcohol in it, or did it seem to be more soothing?

I've got a nine month old Mini Schnauzer and sometimes she smells sort of like...iron and that smell stayed in my leather sofa. She also farts around once per day...I want to know what the causes for the smell and the farting are, and if there is anyway I can stop them?

My girl is a pit mix, 55 pounds, and healthy.

I'm not 100% sure she ate it, as I never heard the pill drop and hit the floor but I can't find it on the counter or on the floor, or anywhere else! She was standing near when I lost the thing, so aside from watching her like a hawk to get her outside if/when it kicks in, is there anything else I can do?

I am searching the Internet for suggestions, but in the meantime, thought I'd pose the question here...

Thanks!

Ok i keep getting into arguments with people saying that pit bulls are unpredictable and will attack for no reason at all.

My question is...has your pit even done so much as growl at you? or nip at you?

I went to see some local shelter dogs and I made prok and rice for them. I was wondering if it's good for them. Many of them are emmaciated and can't digest the dry biscuits given out because of shelter stress. They seemed to like it.

The breeder gave me a teacup to keep her in when I got her. But if she grows anymore she won't be able to fit!

How can I keep her small?

Should I sue the breeder if she so big she's just a normal dog instead of a teacup dog? I'll no longer have a special teacup dog! It will just be... normal!

How will I attract celebrities and hot boys with a dog that won't even fit in a teacup!?!?

He used to do this, so we set up a fabulous high cushioned dogbed, complete with flokati rug next to the sofa. He stopped the sofa sleeping straight away. He has begun again to sofa sleep, and the poor quite new sofa is beginning to look dreadful. Max does currently have a serious flea infestation, which is being treated. Is the sofa behaviour some kind of message about his bed and the fleas or is he having an identity crisis and needing to affirm himself at the top of the pack? He is a chunky feral kind of poodle, a bit indulged but also getting a bit old (he's 9 and definately slowing down). When caught, middle of night or early morning, I growl at him in a dog kind of way, and he leaps straight off, but he does look very guilty and knows he has done wrong. He's pretty smart, so he learns quickly. Any ideas on how to stop this behaviour? Theres no way to keep him out of the living room, no doors..

what do you think happens when the no-kill (or limited capacity) shelters are full? most no-kill shelters have very limited space and they do turn animals away when they are full. so, what then? and just BTW, no-kill doesn't mean no euthanasia...

I cant decide between a Beagle and Border Terrier.
What one makes a better pet?
I have heard Beagles can be independent and stubborn.

I have a six month old black lab. I cannot give this dog enough exercise. He always seems to want more. I run him between 4 and 6 miles a day. Does anyone else have this same problem and what do you do about it? Do they require less as they get older. He was neutered last week and he still wanted run. Suggestions?

I read on a website to kill fleas on ticks add garlic or garlic powder to your dog's food. I wanna make sure that it is okay before I actually try that. My dog is only 9 months old and I do not want to harm him. But we have a lot of fleas and now ticks in my apartment complex and I just want to prevent these from getting worse.

Canidae is a great food.It is human grade and does not have any by-products or corn, wheat, and soy.Yet it has not benefitted my 6 month golden retriever. When we left her at the kennel for 8 days they fed her science diet and when I came back she got much bigger, stronger, and her coat was more beautiful and fluffy than it had ever been. Is it possible she does better on a lower quality kibble instead of high. Should I maybe feed her science diet untill shes grown up and switch back to healthy food.I know science diet has bad ingredients but tis really working for her.I'm so dissapointed with Canidae. I'm open to suggestions
