My dad and I found a dog that we want to adopt from a shelter in Panama City Florida. We live in rural Maine and we are not sure how to get him here. It would cost a lot to drive down there to get her. Does anyone know how much it would cost to fly her up here? Or does anyone know of any organizations that help to transport pets to different places?

Rory, my lovely 5 year old Great Dane was really angry that I left him home alone all day. He displayed his anger by dumping loads of poop all over my house. There were four different loads of poop, of different sizes. One was on my bed, one was on the sofa, one was near the stove in the kitchen, and the final one was on the coffee table. I am at a loss as to what to do.

I read a story about a Native American who was tortured by burning the soles of his feet till they blistered. He escaped and some wolves came up and started licking his feet. They kept coming back every night for several days and licked his feet. After a few days, his feet healed. Can a dog/wolf licking your feet heal them?

My dogs anal glands burst. She got meds and I was told that if they don't heal rit wrll cost $800. Then I read on my vets website that if the dog has this operation recovery is fair and there is a big chance that she wrill lose all control of her bowels.
Drid anyone ever get theirr dog this operatrion? Did they lose control? Drd they come out normal?

I have a male toy poodle and i also have a male mouse. Just the small ones you get at petco for like $2. When i take the mouse out my dog likes to like him and he wants to play with him but im afraid to actually let them out together because im afraid he might bite him or and/or kill him. What do you suggest I do.

I just bought a new Maltese puppy. I was told that she would easily adjust to apartment life and that this breed were good dogs for being left alone. She is adjusting wonderfully to being potty trained but when I leave during the day and at night I crate her as instructed by pet store. She whines and yelps all night to the point that I can't sleep and neighbors are complaining. I leave her plenty of toys but she will yelp all day until I get home or let her out the cage. I was told to potty train unless I am able to closely watch she should be crated. When I'm home I always let her out.

But i live in a Duplex apartment in NYC, its real big, but honestly, i understand not all dogs are made for apartment living, the sites say its a good apartment dog, but i was wondering if anyone owns one and has an idea from practical experience with them.
