I am looking to purchase a male boxer puppy. I have owned boxers before. I believe that the American lines are becoming too elegant and the German lines are a little "beefier". Does anyone know of a breeder in Pa or a state that is close that has a line of boxers with a significant amount of German blood in the line

i have a beagle he is 10yrs old. for bout the last week or so his front leg has been hurting him(not sure if its left or right forgot)we have been giving him motrion 4 the pain. once the motroin kicks in he is fine but if he doesnt have the motrion then it really hurts him. he cant even jump up on the bed or coach. if we lift him up it still sometimes hurts him. its also kind of hard 2 help him down cause cant watch him 24/7 2 no if he wants 2 get down. so any way if he has to have surgey that will cost $500-$1000 and we really dont have money 4 it. we all ready have 2 pay $300 4 somthing else 4 him. so i have a choice if he needs surgery my bros and i can help pay 4 it or he can live his life out or put him 2 sleep wut ever would b best 4 him. i dont no wut 2 do cause i can get the money easily (have a job and so do bros) or let him die within a year or so. i luv him and depend on 4 saftey. dont feel safe w/ out him. i will no more once he goes 2 the vet but wut should i do

My Siberian Husky scratches her ears non-stop!! She has done this ever since she was a baby. (She is 5 months now.) The vet said she didn't have any infections or anything...why does she do this? She scrathces until they bleed! (And she doesn't have fleas.)

I take care of 4 dogs (two are mine, one a friend's) one being my sister's. She plays with him....and feeds him sometimes. I groom him and all. Mind you he's an aussie with tons of fur. I pick up his poo which has been a real challenge since the garbage people are on strike. Do you think its fare that I have to keep up with him while she simply walks him (sometimes) and plays with him? Shes 24

I have had a toy poodle for a year and he is a little over a yr old but recently he has started going to the bathroom in the house, last 6 months. The thing is he does it when we are all in bed or when no one is around so I can't catch him. I don't know what to do, I have had him smell it and told him no-he used to be really good about going outside when I told him potty. Now he just goes any where. I have another male dog- a lab- but he is an outside dog. Anyone with an idea????

I'm one of those people who loves to go to the pet store just to look at all the cute dogs! Im fully aware that most dogs come from Pet Mills and I do not plan on buying from one. I'm just wondering if anyone knows where the pet store PJ Pet's buys their animals from?

They raised the puppy and have huge bond with him. They were having some bad months and were not able to buy food for anyone in the family. They were scared for the dog and thought the people food was hurting him. The months for them was like Katrina thing in that it was so disparing and they couldn't see the rainbow. Even after the dog was at the shelter they felt such huge remorse and wanted him back. The son cried a lot and said he missed his best friend. They were just about to get the dog back and found out he was in a new home. They felt so much love for the dog they offered the dog's brand new crate to the new owners. The new people wanted the crate and came and got it. My friend experienced such loss when the crate was gone and wanted her dog back. She told her husband how she felt and said to her to just ask them if she could buy the dog back. They saw a similar breed at the shelter and offered to pay the fees for that dog and to pay them $500 for the dog they want.

before I go to the police I'd like to know if there are laws against too much barking. Maybe he will put the dogs in or something before it really gets ugly. Nice didn't work, land lady, didn't help...

I will be taking my chihuahua with me on a flight from Philadelphia to Phoenix. She will be riding in a Sherpa under my seat.(she is 7 pounds.) I have my ticket... but do I have to pre-register my dog? Can you tell me how much time I should allow before my flight to go through security? What should I do (if anything) about "travelers tummy?" How about medical records, should I bring them? Any other advice?

Why the bad rep. for labradoodles? Is it because of the high price? I have the opportunity to adopt from an animal shelter; I'm not paying $800 plus.
