i have lost my best friend in the whole entire......my dog he was always there for me and no he ran off beacuse he got out of the house and i don't want another dog what am i suppose to do

i live in the woods in a little town but it has lots of woods and i lost him about three days ago but it seems like a month

You can't replace a best friend. Remember him and cry when you feel like it. As time goes by you will feel better but thats something you can't see right now. Go find a new puppy that really need's a home and make him your new friend. Tell him about your old best friend and I'll bet he listen's . Doggies listen better than anybody when you are sad. I am crying for you and your loss, I know how you feel. I've lost best friend's before to.

I had to put my beloved dog down and I said at the time as painful as that was I would have gone crazy if he has just become lost and I could retrieve him instantly! I feel so badly for your situation. Could you put fliers out in the nearby neighborhood with his picture on it and a description? I don't know how long it has been that he is missing or what type of area you live in (rural, big city, small apartment complex???) ,but maybe someone saw him. I'm sure you have searched. Have you contacted the "pound" or the Humane Society in your area? They could have him and will hold him for awhile hoping the owner will try to contact them. I'm so sorry for your situation! You could ask the help of Saint Anthony the patron saint of lost articles to help you in your search. Good luck, God bless you and your poor lost dog. Take care of yourself don't get too depressed.

How long has it been ? mine got out and i didnt find him for a day and a half she was a rescue and didnt like being on a lead so ran when i tryed to put her on my mums dog also dose his best to run when the local strays are on heat and wont come home till hes done (or she chases them around lol good luck

I'm sorry to hear that. it takes time to get over something like that and that's what you need. in the mean time make posters of your dog and hang them up all over your town and at local establishments call the nearest shelters and animal control and give them a description of your dog and i hope that if he doesn't come home that a nice family finds him. best of luck and hope to you and again im sorry.

Agreed, do all you can to find the dog. Call your local shelters to see if they have him and to give them a description of the dog if he is eventually brought in.
If by chance he never finds his way back to you, your heart has to take time to grieve the loss your best friend.
I hope you find him!

'm wondering why ur dog left you??? I mean I have a terrier and he would never leave me, I don;t understand... but what you can do is get a cat... maybe you need to saty away from dogs for a little bit ,.... try a kitten and start form there. good luck!

you can always check with your local humane organizations...many have grief services available or know where they are... if your dog comes back...make sure that he is neutered, have him microchipped, and enter him in a reward based training program.
