I guess it would depend on the stores and stuff. From my recent info collected chihuahuas are nice and get along with cats and I have always wanted one! :) I'm going to check how much it would be at my Humane Society. And if there are any small, non-shedding and get along with cats dogs other than chihuahuas tell me. READ THIS! THIS IS ASLO FOR POODLES! SAME QUESTIONS AND STUFF FOR POODLES. ok? ;D

I'm being asked to "foster" this female for awhile. 1yr. old, spayed. I know nothing about the breed. Not even what they look like. I'll do a photo search. But can anyone tell me-size, temperment, personality(general) etc..? Thank you!

My female dog [shitzu] humps my other female dog taht's her size and she humps that cat too. I'm not joking this is for real. She also eats cat food and doesn't like dog food. We told the vet and he said just don't let her eat too much of it, but is the humping thing normal?

Bailey is 6 months, Rylee is 5 months and on the back of my food for the feeding schedule, at their weight 30-40 pounds it says 2 cups a day! that is hardly anything, and I know this is just a guideline. However, my question is when do I start feeding them less times a day? Thanks

I have twice noticed a couple drops of light greenish/yellow discharge after my 6month Siberian Husky urinates in the last few days. Is this normal for a pup? She is not neutured and seems to be completely healthy in all other respects.

i was supposed to get a new puppy tonight, i paid my deposit on it and was willing to make a 4 hour drive to get it at a farm where the litter was. i got a call about 4 hours ago saying that something got into the barn and attacked a bunch of animals, puppy included and it had to be put to sleep. i'm so upset. we got everything we needed for this dog, and even had a name tag already made up for it with his name. i feel like i miscarried or something. like i never even got to see my baby. what should i do?

My little dachshund Heidi loves to roll on her back to wait for a belly rub. Once you get on your knees to rub her belly, she jumps up and kisses you. She's so adorable! She just jumped at my face to kiss me and her nose hit me hard on my eye. How does your dog greet you?

I have a couple of middle aged dogs that live with me in my home with a yard. They have free run of this yard to potty whereever they want. My girlfriend and I want to live together in her place which has a smallish patio. I have had my dogs there before and the smell of the urine really bothers my GF, even if it is hosed off daily. So that is why I'd like to know if it is possible to get a dog to urinate or poo in a place that would contain the smell, kind of like a litter box.

my dog is a 5 lb maltese who is very aggressive to other people. She barks at everyone in our apartment complex, she goes berzerk when other people come inside the elevator with us, she barks at joggers, the only time she behaves is when we are in the park. She thinks she's the pack leader!! how do we solve this? walking her (as dog whisperer suggests is not enough to establish my self as the pack leader) help pls thanks!

We moved to Florida from Ohio about a month ago. Before we left Ohio our dog was updated with all his vaccinations, especially kennel cough. We have been here for about a month now and he has periodically been coughing (or clearing his throat?), has thrown up twice this week, once last week and is shredding like crazy. He is only 2 and has no interaction with other animals since we have been in Florida. The shedding I understand could be from the weather, but the periodic coughing and throw up is more than I have seen him do since we got him 2 years ago. Please note that the throw up is not anything but yellowish bile looking fluids. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Today early in morning I got up to use bathroom. There are two doors. that lead to my bedroom. I use one that I didn't lock at night, when I came out of that door, I walk into laundry room then open door that lead to living room/kitchen. As I open the door, I can see my uncle's dog moving oddly and as I step into the room, I can feel vibrate of it barking (I'm deaf) and I know something was wrong because I have never saw it barked. So I start to back into laundry room and that's when the dog charge toward me, so I slam the door close and accidentally slam it against the dog head. I was so terrified and feel so bad and end up go outside to pee.

Do anyone know why this happen? Is it because I come out of this door and dog mistake me as a stranger? I alway come out from other door. I have been living here for almost two weeks now. Also what should I do about dog? Should I use other door in future to avoid this problem? I feel so bad :-(
