Any information on Rodesian Ridgebacks??

Question

I'm being asked to "foster" this female for awhile. 1yr. old, spayed. I know nothing about the breed. Not even what they look like. I'll do a photo search. But can anyone tell me-size, temperment, personality(general) etc..? Thank you!

they are a very large breed she may be 70 - 100 pounds they were used to hunt lions. they are usually redish and have a ridge of hair down ther back going the oppisite way of the rest of their hair like i big cowlick. Ive seen hyperactive ones and and very calm ones i would guess the one year old would have alot of energy unless she is timid. They are sweet dogs though you will probably like her.
